Minos is still used, but the others not so much. The models are so freaking sweet though, it's a pity more folks don't use them. Add a craftable tag to them, pretty please, with a +3 or +4 limit.

You rarely see them, because in general they are pretty sub-par. Still, those models/skins are pretty freaking awesome. Seriously, who wouldn't want to carry something that looked like a Death's Door?
Helmets too are nifty, though those skins have largely been re-used except Minos and the Muffled dealio

Just because there is crafting doesnt mean everything and its pet cat should be given the creatable tag.
I mean it would be nice but taking minos for example it already gives a bonus that only epic items slotted with a blue crystal can give,
Comparing those designs to most of the newer items just makes me depressed.

Toughness is found on the Thaarak Bracelet from the first (I think) madness chain, Trial By Fire (runearm), Quarforged Docent of Battle, and the Epic Belt of the Mroranan and the Epic Hyena's Claw necklace. Granted only the Trial By Fire matches Minos' min level, but still, you have a few options (the Thaarak Bracelet is fairly easy to get).
Heavy Fort is of course on random loot gen stuff....

It is such a shame that such really cool looking development just sits there, and then things like the timeblade (interesting, don't get me wrong) are reused. Either start just making these masks/shields skins drop on random loot, so we can craft it, or boost them in some way so that we can use them.
I would RATHER have a boost to the items that makes them equal to minos in other ways. +6 abilities, for those that offer abilities (so the Totemic Lavelier, for instance, would be one of two items that offered two +6 abilities in one item, which would be pretty cool, and make you actually have to pick between Minos and it), and greater or superior ____s (so, for instance, Seraphim would offer superior devotion, again making it worthy of consideration), or +15 to the skills offered (making the muffled veneer worthy of consideration as well).
But your crafting idea is still a step in the right direction.
Edit: New idea, maybe a crafting step after running Abbot, you can use those seals to make the shields and helms better too.
Lets be fair, Quorforged is ML 18, has to be upgraded, and until yesterday reasonably difficult to get, and only used by WF. And Trial by Fire was also reasonably difficult to get, has a lot of better options, only used by artis, and finally, the bracers are competing for a decent spot.
Though yeah, the bracers make this argument a bit silly.
I'm getting a guest pass for second account to pick up a skiver and minos, but looking at the shields I they are all useless, its a pity because they are nice looking, more a show piece than anything. Than again I think a lot of the older packs need their loot upgraded. I mean ash boots, woo 30% striding! Had that on random loot ages ago.

Now I am not saying that the other items would not do well with a boost , but tacking on a means to add yet another minor boon to the items won't suddenly make them fly off the shelves, unless that boon will unbalance the heck out of them, and then only with the items where if they put this crafted shard on it,it becomes "The best (whatever) in the game!"
Add "craftable" is bad idea. Better way to increase value of that items is add to them some unusuall things and remove useless. That's why Minos Legends still works even on endgame. I dream of:
Undying Gaze: Intimidate +15, Roar
Totemic Lavender: Archmagi, Charisma +6/Inteligence +6 (two version to choose)
Seraphim: Sacred, Hallowed, Superior Devotion VI
Muffled Veneer: Hide +15, Move Silently +15, Dusk
Tradusor: Wisdom +6, Resistance +5
Minos Legends: no changes.
That will work even on endgame I think
