Lately, I have been thinking about an odd build that I feel may have some potential. While I doubt that I will ever create a character based on this build, I would like to know what everyone's opinion of this build is.
The build that I am suggesting is a half elf 12 cleric/6 paladin/2 monk, which would serve as a healing-amp based melee character that is fairly self sufficient.
The half elf is for the Human Improved Recovery line of enhancements and the monk dilletante, both of which will increase this character's healing amp.
The twelve levels of cleric is to allow this build to self heal, especially with its healing aura that it receives at level 12. With a high healing-amp this should make it very hard to kill. It also allows the character to melee effectively via the divine power spell, and can also throw raises in emergencies.
The six levels of paladin are to allow this build to use longswords, as I am thinking that this build will end up dual wielding longswords with the longsword ki feat. The six levels of paladin also allow this build to take the Hunter of the Dead prestige, which increases the healing amp of this build by 10%.
Alternatively, I am debating whether taking six levels of fighter would be a better choice. This would give this build more feats to play around with, but would not offer the healing amp that the paladin levels do.
The two levels of monk are for evasion, two additional feats, and the ability to use the Jidz-Tet'ka bracers to further increase this build's healing amp
There are probably loads of flaws with this idea, I am just curious as to whether it has any merit.
