I second that. I understand bugs creep into code. I also understand my real life bank account has been charged. Just want a fix for what I paid for.

As for now , i got all my stuff.
It was a pretty rapid fix for a rather important bug.
At first i didnt found the mail with the pets ,but its because it was not on the toon i was expecting it ,but rather on a bank alt that never really been played.

All is not perfect ,and i understand that some people complain , but for me the Devs did a very good job.
I haz ma kittiz ! ...and more xp tomes that i can eat XD

Still haven't recieved my pets or lesser tome upgrader. I realise the 72 hour period isn't up yet but i'm still moderatly concerned ...

This may be helpful to some here:

I got MOST of my replacement items by Friday/Saturday, and was still receiving some items via in game mail as late as Sunday. I think I'm 100% caught up now, but if I'm not it's not anything I've not noticed.

I'm sure that they'll go through the list again after the 72 hours to see what oddball cases came up.

On my toon Rami on Kyber, I used my Lesser Tome of Learning. I received all my pre-order stuff and everything was Kosher. Then yesterday I noticed a small drop in XP. So I checked my toon and the lesser tome of learning had disappeared from my character sheet from beside my name. I thought this was odd. I waited for my replacement ticket and used the lesser tome of learning from that. Then I reincarnated. My Lesser Tome of Learning did not reappear. Did this happen to anyone else?

...ON THE WRONG CHARACTER.

The items are BTC too, which sucks harder than an Oreck in an F5 Tornado.

Good gravy... what a fiasco.

I will make an exception: The character that was supposed to get the Greater Tome of Learning gets an Upgrade instead. I am so glad I got a replacement pack on him so I can actually use the upgrade. This could be even worse. It's still a major bungle after major bungle after major bungle.

It disappearing upon reincarnation seems to be a known bug. From what I have read if you enter a quest the xp bonus from this tome will still apply it is just an error on the character sheet.

The tome upgrade should be bound to account, so that shouldn't be an issue...but then, aren't the only items that are bound to character that only the greater package get the cosmetic pets and collars? Once those are used, all of your characters on that server have access to them (so, use all of the pet items, put the collars on whichever one(s) you want, and then all of your characters can summon them and toggle the collars).

Thank you i got all my pre-order stuff on 2 servers, got some cake replacements that worked and others that dont work, I click on the cake i do the eating and nothing happens, i then click on the cake again and nothing. Logged out and tryed again and nothing. So i have 1 or 2 cakes that dont work. Well i got cakes on toons that did work so no loss. Thanks alot and Happy Birthday DDO.

So I tried to use my Lesser to Greater tome upgrade on my toon Rami to no avail. If the Lesser Tome not showing up is a bug, it has not been repaired as of yet.

Another update for the thread. At this time we're working back through our delivery system to catch edge case characters that may have missed the primary delivery (example: player deleted veteran status character whose name started with A, whoops!)

Whats the OFFICIAL stance on people getting two greater tomes out of the purchase and fix?

I'll explain...
A person had no problem with their pre-delivery items got the greater tome
Then the issue causes everyone to be sent the cat icon again,
AND then those people,who had no problem, get a lesser to greater tome, because of the fix

I was just happy to get my stuff, but I have a guildie ranting to high heaven about it...

I am not saying I won't complain but that I have my shiney and am content to play with it for now

So is this known?
was this acceptable to 'fix' the issue?
