Another update regarding cakes and pre-purchase items...

Tomorrow morning there will be a hotfix to correct the item delivery issues. This will allow players to resume activating their pre-purchase items and cakes. Please note: when the worlds come up, if you've already had item delivery issues, we'll be handling these after the hotfix has been applied. More info will be provided for players who already lost their items. Please continue to follow this thread for the latest information on pre-purchase items and cakes. Thanks for your patience everyone!

We normally don't have release notes for hotfixes, but because this hotfix includes some complex issues (the pre purchase items, the reincarnation, video adjustments, etc) we're in the process of putting some together. They will not be ready in time for downtime though.

I also had issues on 3 of my toons not getting my tomes and not getting my pre-order stuff. Esp. on my Drow Paladin. I didn't get my figurine of wonderous power. I hope they can clear this up I want my panther darn it. lol. eirther = either. lol sorry I can't spell at the moment.

Basically what it boils down too, if you paid 80 bucks and used your items and nothing happened.. like me... We are going to be waiting weeks and weeks. Half my friends will be triple tr's by then.. Thanks

I -really- hope that turbine has an easy way to tell who used the trinket and wasn't given their items. I figure there's gotta be some sort of flag on the character that can show whether or not the trinket was used, as there are dependent values that would be created for the next character to use their trinket (the 1st character bonuses vs 2nd char use).

not sure if that made sense when I was typing it but that's the best way I know how to put it.

I can tell you right now though, I certainly didn't pay $80 to get less than a 1/4 of the value that was promised me.

Probably using the wrong code call turbine acount services for help it took me 10 minutes to do this.

Thanks for the update but what did come too late (no fault of Turbine just bad timing) was being told AFTER I reported the missing items not to open the other bunus items on toons that did get them... that instruction came too late since I did get them on 3 of 5 toons and had already used the items on 2 of the toons that got them before they responded to the bug report.

Hey read the posts and threads unless you went through everytoon opened the items and wasted the oppertunity to think something was wrong then its on you. Its my relax time also 80 bucks well it happens this is a preorder the date for the preorder is in june so you should get it before then.

This time no you won't need to do that. We'll have all the details once we triple check that the method to re-bestow the items works. We need to apply the hotfix before it can work though, then after that we're running a final sanity check of it on our own characters just to be cautious.

Figure I'll probably TR after that just to be quadruple sure on that front as well.

I'm sure the midnight oil is being burnt left right and center out there at DDo central, and will exercise severe self control in clicking that kitty icon on my order delivery and running to J with those wooden heats till after we've got the A Ok heads up from yourself and the rest of the team.
