    Default End game Evoker Gear

    Been out of the game for about a year and am thinking about getting into it.

    Can anyone let me know what generally is the best endgame kit for the FVS focusing on Evocation? I am assuming 3 Epic abishai items is still groovy but little idea what else.

    Please include epics (excluding torc :P) and greensteel where appropriate.

    Personally, I'm not planning on running more than the envenomed cloak for abishai gear. In general, I'm planning something like this for Wruntjunior:

    Head: Epic Helm of the Mroranon
    Trinket: Litany of the Dead
    Goggles: Greensteel Con Opp SP Goggles
    Necklace: Epic Torc
    Cloak: Epic Envenomed Cloak
    Body: Tier 3 Calvary Plate
    Bracers: Bracelet of Madness
    Gloves: Greensteel Min 2 HP item (convenient heavy fort)
    Belt: Rahkir's Sash
    Ring 1: Dragonmarked Ring (+2 wisdom)
    Ring 2: Rahkir's Ring (+2 constitution)
    Boots: striding/firestorm greaves/boots of anchoring/etc

    For weapons, I carry a tower shield (currently madstone, working on epic templar's bulwark), a heavy shield (epic kundarak warding shield), and am working on a con opp/healing amp longsword. Also have a skiver, for certain circumstances. Generally, though, I run with Staff of the Petitioner out, as it's essentially ~300 free mana and a good dc boost.

    This may not be the best list, but it's working well for me so far (most of the way there...need the scroll for my cloak before I put on the archmage set...need to finally get the seal and shard for helm of the mroranon as they're avoiding me...and need to re-craft my hp item to min 2). If anyone has improvements, I'm open to them...but this gear set up is nearing the ideal one, I think. I hope this gives you an idea on a good fvs endgame gear setup.

    Edit: Very minor point, but I saw an error of my own: planning to make a healing amp/con opp longsword...and to have 20% healing amp on ToD ring. Changed it to +2 con to more accurately represent my plans.

    I'd take something besides mineral. You have plenty of blue/green slots for fitting in Heavy Fort, and that's the only thing Mineral is getting you.

    I'd take a strong offensive guard (disintegration, trap the soul, corrosive salt), or a strong defensive guard (Air, Smoke Screen, Radiance).

    I have plenty of blue slots...I don't have plenty of tokens. It's easier for me to craft a min2 hp item in the short term than to fill multiple blue slots. That said, may or may not do that at all, depending on what the expansion has available (as my FvS is waiting to be a level 1 sorc as soon as I can get a heart of wood).

    I just have too many slots on too many characters to use many on my FvS...that said, I still need the shard of the helm (along with the scroll) to make any progress there, either way.

    *Cloak: epic envenomed (heavy fort)

    Not so ideal: mror helm+3tome=48

    The only thing I'm missing here is the quiver, the first tier water spirit, and the 4 tome
    In HP mode SDSF has 702 hp. DCs are 43evo 42necro and 41 for all else. (Add 1 more with song)

    I would argue that the use of the epic Envenomed Cloak is only warranted if you can even out your CON score. Otherwise it's a fairly bland option, easily surpassed by a few other cloaks.

    Unless I get a +4 con tome, it evens it out. If I get one, though...I could see using slots to pick up the +6 con, getting toughness somewhere else (my current plan for the green slot), and putting my hp item on my cloak slot...this would free my gloves for gloves of the claw for 30% healing amp...but most people probably wouldn't do that.

    Dragonmarked Ring is +6 cha/+1 wis, and I put +2 wis on it. That ring just lets me completely forget charisma, while getting my +3 exceptional wisdom.
