Confirmation: 1 Free Tome per character forever

As I understand it, all characters on each world will get the first 'Ticket'. The first one to use it will get the greater tome and all other characters (future & present) will get a lesser tome.

Thanks, that's what I'm guessing will happen. Just wanted confirmation from a Dev or someone that has actually done it at 600TP per upgrade across each other server it may be a saving should I ever utilise it... not a biggie, but ideally want confirmation before I bite-the-bullet and purchase...

Question #1:
If I purchase the collectors edition, and some months afterwards I start a new character or two on a "world"/server that I have never been on before - will one character be able to get the greater tome for free? Or will they all just get lessers?

In other words - I'm VIP and looking at purchasing the collectors edition. Should I look at creating a character on all "worlds" to receive the greater tome option for free, or is it ok to wait until I get the Veteran7 from the collectors pack and when/if I create a new character they can get the greater tome? Which leads on to...

Question #2 (a mechanics clarification required):
After purchasing the collectors edition, I presume some "token" appears in the inventory of all existing and new characters for the tome.Will the first use of this tome-token on a given "world" grant a greater, and subsequent uses grant a lesser?
(if this is true, it makes the answer to the first question obvious...)

I'll answer #2 first.

The first use of the token per server will grant that character a greater tome. All subsequent uses will grant a lesser.

They'll get a Lesser Tome. The Greater is once per world, and "recreating" isn't something sponsored by the system. For all intents and purposes, it is making a new character.

The recreating option that does exist is Reincarnation, and Greater Tomes will persist through Reincarnation so that would be the way to ensure it is kept.

I ask because when I get the CE pre-order, am I screwed if I use my first token on the wrong character? There might also be a case where I want to save it for a character to be made later but want the rest of the benefits now?

that's in the FAQ. it is bound to character, so make sure you use it on the right one.

If I purchase the base package, it includes the same lesser tome of learning as the collectors edition, correct?

Meaning, every character from here forward will receive a lesser tome?

Just not sure if I need to get the mac-daddy package or if there are different 'lesser lesser' tomes :|

Wanting to make sure because I play at least 2 characters and this lesser tome is worth more to me than picking one character to have the greater. Basically worth 3000tp for three characters versus the 1600 for one greater.
