    That one is supposed to be part of the Sharn syndicate quest - the one with retrieving the Stormreaver fresco. I'm not sure how it is triggered, but if I'm not mistaken this is how it's supposed to happen.

    <spoiler>

    It's been quite a while, so I don't really remember exactly - but I think the guard will ask you to come back after hours using the side entrance.

    </end spoiler>

    I'm not sure how this is triggered or removed, as sometimes I still get this message after completing the Sharn syndicate series. I think it might be triggered when you start on the Sharn quest.

    "Misere's Armor", named after a certain Spider in "Redfang Unruled", doesn't look like as if it had been made out of spider parts at all !
    It rather looks as if it had been made of parts of an Owlbear ...

    Just a throw-in : I'm currently playing the game "SIMs Medieval".
    It is SO much different from DDO - and it even contains proper "social role play" ...

    @Developers : Please just take a look at it. A short look is sufficient, because it shows you how great the differences between DDO and "Medieval SIMs" is.

    I want to have my Mini-Golem to be able to perform is "floating" or "diving" "trick" under water, too.

    I think it would look great if he looks as if he was diving.

    Not nessisarily a gameply issue but a suggestion that would be handy.

    Being a non-US player i find that is necessary to be selective on which server i am playing on at any time to avoid high latency. unfortunately there is no way of telling idf a sever is playable at that time until i am completely logged in. in which case if it isn't then i need to close the game and relog to get onto try another server.

    What i am suggesting is to include a latency count as well as a current player count in the server selection window of the launcher client. this will allow everyone to see how many players are online and what kind of lag they are going to get before they log into a server.

    this is good for both people who don't have to worry a bout lag and want the server with the higher player count and also this that have to pick the lower player population to get a better connection speed.

    I would like to see a quest (and a rather low-level to id-level quest at that) which require a bard's "fscinating" or something similar to stop a group of enemies mistakenly attacking another group.

    Background would be that the hostile group was somewhat "tricked" into attacking another group, maybe civilians, for example.

    The quest should be marked as "failed" if they attack nevertheless AND and are killed, too !

    Because someone woul come up with the solution of "well, let's kill them altogether so that they can't attack the civilians, right ?" Bad, bad boy ! Bad, bad girl !

    The goal of this should be that *no-one* becomes attacked anyway. Neither the attacker's side nor the "passive" side.
    A bit similar to "Home Sweet Sewer" in the Harbour area (not far away from the Rogue crafting area).

    The only solution to this should be either

    - diplomacy check or/and charisma checks ( -> persuation, and NO intimidation ! Because intimidation, as it is used in DDO right now would fuel even more the rage to attack the other group !)
    - Bard's ability to "fascinate"
    - caster's ability to "hypnotize"

    The end result should be NOT the use of *any* weapons. It should teach players that in some cases better NOT to kill ANYTHING ...

    I try to enjoy this game in all its aspects, and something that always pleases my eye is when there is obvious effort to make the game more immersing.

    Something that I always thought would've been cool, is the completion of previous quests, carrying over in the chain to influence later quests. A good example if the Red Fens line. Let's assume you complete Claw of Vulkoor first, and then move on towards "Last Stand", I feel that since you gained the aid of Vulkoor in the previous quest, periodically, Drow-Scorpions should pop up to help you protect the village. Then, let's assume you moved towards "Fathom the Depths"; once you pulled the lever releasing the wall of water, and then entered the main hall again, some of the Raveneye from the village and a few more Drow-Scorpions jump down and help you in there.

    Finally, once all has been completed, and you are facing down the Priestess in "Into the Deep", a portal appears in the room and lets in a few of Vulkoor's scorpions, which help you with the fight. Personally I would hardly call this "EZ" mode, but rather allows the game to have a sense of direction, it makes you feel like you've done your part and you are being rewarded for helping this village out.

    And while I'm on this hypothetical dream spree, maybe NPCs could actually be useful and kill something? Besides themselves in fire traps?
