Multiple spellbooks

I'm pretty sure it's already been asked but I'll resubmit this idea.

Multiple spellbooks for classes that can swap spells at shrines/taverns. I multibox and have my buffs arranged across my toons for the best configuration. However, on their own, the toon usually lacks some of the generally useful buffs that you would normally carry. I'd like an extra spell book or two so that I could hit a shrine or tavern and swap to a more group based book than the one I would use in my "soloing". I'm sure it would be useful across the board for most players with toons that can swap spells too.

As in, normal list of total spells, normal amount of spells, normal spell selection, but with one click at a tavern you can pick your 'Necromancy' spell list, changing every spell slot in one go instead of having go to your level one spells and swap Magic Missile for Chilling touch, level two spells and swap Command Undead in and Scorching Ray out, Level three spells....

I'm not sure, but think your terminology might be wrong.

It's not the spell book you want a double of, it's a preset spell selection.

Not a bad suggestion, but not one I would agree is needed either.

I agree this is not needed. All you have to do is swap your spells in a tavern or shrine.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that this person wants it to be possible to have preset spell selections stored for their spell book, for wizards and clerics.

Something similar to the weapon hotbar system.

I have never felt the need for it myself, so I dont care either way.

hm... this would mean you need to scribe each spell onto the books... and they're not changeable. i like the idea
but that would make getting spells at levels pointless

Sorry, got sidetracked and forgot to return here but yeah basically that is what I'm asking. I'm not saying I need something like this. It'd just make things easier for my playstyle while not particularly affecting gameplay. For example, I'll swap out some spells for a quest with some guildies and I'd forget to swap in Greater Heroism. It's not required of course, it would just make me look like less of an ass... so not a high priority, just thought I'd suggest it.

I would suggest changing the OP to reflect this, then. Most people reply to the first post, not the whole thread, so you'll get a lot of responses that have nothing to do with what you want.

I do not remember if it is possible on this forum, but changing the Title would also be a good idea.
