Given what has happened on Lama, should it get released, what happens to the banks of current TRs? Just apply the new load only. Do they lose what is in their bank or not?

Being that Cordovan has already stated, "We're not going to let people lose all of their stuff when TRing" (Post #61), I think it reasonable to assume that they will also ensure that current TR banks are protected as well. And in the event that something does happen to current TR banks, I think it also reasonable to assume that they will work even faster to correct such a problem.

No, it was rushed out. This build with the tr bug is not the lammania build that has been out for weeks now, it was just released in the past 24/48 hours. A bug was found by players, not Tubine staff, and they are trying to fix it, no where has Turbine stated it is fixed.

Took my prized Elven AA Ranger and tried a TR, but when I went to the bank to get stuff from my inventory, all that was there was stuff from the bank. Anything in my inventory, like my epic items and my greensteel bow was gone!

EDIT: I do have reincarnation cache, but it only has stuff from the bank.

EDIT 2: After many of you confirmed the issue, I submitted a bug report.

I've tried to keep up to date on this but I haven't been able to find if this bug exists when Lesser and Greater Reincarnating. Has anyone tested Lesser and Greater Reincarnating?

I did a lesser Reincarnate on a character that has never True Reincarnated and lost all my inventory stuff also.

Bank stuff remained intact.

Wow...anyways, huge thanks to those who've discovered and tested this bug. OP should definitely get something from Turbine as a big thank you. He saved them from incalculable amounts of badness. Lifetime VIP status would seem appropriate for this, as the amount of $$$ he just saved Turbine from losing seems like it would be massive.

Is losing some items alright then? Where is this line drawn? I apologize if I'm coming across really negative, not my intention. My intention is that while this issue is being addressed, fix it entirely.

It has been around for some time that people would lose a handful of items from TRing. An epic seal from an ingredients bag, a mantle, silver flame talismans, ToD rings. Sure, not as big an impact from losing ALL of your current equipment, but why is losing any of it ok? And then by the time you notice it it's past the seven day limit that Turbine gives to recover lost items through TRing or whatever. I guess I need to make a list of everything on my person, in my bags and then double check it when I TR???

Thank you for preventing an even bigger issue going live and still making a fun game, but the little bugs add up over time and can cause a frustrated player base that wants to have fun playing the game, not chase blinded, stunned, held, paralyzed, tripped mobs running all over the place =P Guess if players could do that it'd get fixed faster...oh, then it'd be called an exploit, not a bug

Because the build that has that fix isn't on Lamannia. I thought that was fairly obvious.

This makes it sound like Kruz will be gone until the fix for this rolls out, if it doesn't come with the update itself.

As was mentioned earlier, there are people who have already turned in their TR/LR/GR hearts to Kruz, but haven't reincarnated; that's either because they're waiting specifically for the update, or because they had some other reason to wait. I'm not one of them, but I wanted to make sure they'll be safe if they push that "reincarnate" button on Monday. Especially if there's an even worse bug out there.

You do not know that for truth. You ABSOLUTELY do not know that for truth. The bug very easily may have been known by Turbine staff all along. The libraries that handle TR functions may have intentionally been left out.

They've explicitly said that they are making efforts to get more to Lamannia faster. AND, they included a caveat that they may be a little more rough around the edges because of these endeavors.

I would recommend trying to find a little more patience and a little more trust. Take a look at their track record for the past 3 months or more. Turbine has been doing a colossal job with getting things done and communicating with the community.
