Still no pets in the New Lama Build

I just went and check, no pets are for sale.

I know it's a minor feature but my wife disagres. She thinks it's a major feature and want it above all else.

Fairly sure we won't be seeing them in on Monday. They haven't been in release notes, and we really haven't seen much from the Devs about them. Kookie and 404 had them, but I think that was just intended as a teaser.

They did give out the pets at the last Dev event I have 10 toons that all have the 3 pets. But no they are not in the store. Which leaves me wondering if they will make Live and just at what kind of Cost??

From some of the outside source interviews, I believe the pets
will be a bonus for those that pre-order the expansion. Chances are
they will appear for the expansion, not the update.

No no, gamespot is just really poor at writing articles. Those that pre-order the expansion will get a 'limited edition pet', normal pets are still in this update.

I don't believe you. I don't think they would launch such a big feature without previewing it first on Lam; they would never do such a thing!

I agree that no preview/testing is an odd thing, but worst comes to worst, it will be released in a patch of this update.

That's a good point, although I am not sure why they would not have put them in the store...

According to the release notes they are going live today, although the 'click here' takes the user to the expansion pre-order page:

A UI tab has been created for Creature Companions. The tab appears when the first Creature Companion has been acquired. Click here to find out how to get them!

So, apparently the ONLY way to get a Creature Companion currently, or before the expansion hits, is to pre-order the expansion.

They put all that stuff in the store and AH in prep for the expansion.

They will have other pets that can be purchased.
Maybe even found in adventures <-- that is just a guess
