Default This is For a Tukaw Build

I am going to make a Tukaw Build 2 Pally/2 Monk/16 Sorc and I have my Feats Picked Out, Just 2 Feats are missing cause i need to Know should I use a Quaterstaff to stay centered or Use Greataxe for Power. And Once i finesh that ill probally grab Maximise, Quicken, Extend, Empower and all that. But All i need to Know is What Savant should I grab? Fire Savant Looks pretty good but people say alot of enimes at endgame are Fire Enemy's. So can you guys help me with that?

    -What Savant Should I use?
-Quaterstaff (To Stay Centered and get +2 Str for Stance) or go Greataxe and get all those Crits?

Carry staffs for when you want to center and (say) drop into Water stance for more saves, earth for more HP, whatever.

Carry greatswords for when you want to swing something. You'll get a +1 from pally, and your best bet right now is to farm up a Terror.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane

So Quaterstaff for Mobs and Greatsword for Bosses?

    Or a falchion...

But really, Q-staff isn't going to do much for you except when you;re jumping though traps. Cannith challenge greatax or a crafted something would be a nice weapon while working on GS ingrediants/powercells & essences

*edit - agreed, terror is awesome! and well worth it*

Just switch to staff if you need higher saves or more hp for something. If you want to hurt something then go with a great sword.

For the savant prestige i'd probably go acid as it has some nice spell like abilities, extra hp and acid has a few spells with no DC that are quite mana efficient. Air has some decent SLA too and will increase the damage of your level 5 dot, which is great on bosses. Cold will boost your other levels 5 dot and increase the damage of spells like polar ray and ice storm but its SLA will be practically useless for you.

Acid rain, ice storm and firewall essentially have no save and are area of effect spells that last about 30 seconds iirc. I'd cast one or two of these and stand in the middle of them while you fight mobs.

Melf's acid missile, burning blood, black dragon bolt, eladar's elect surge and niac's biting cold are all single target dots without saves.

Then you have spells that do have a save, but only for half damage such as cone of cold, acid blast, acid spray, fire ball, delayed blast fireball, otiluke's freezing sphere etc. These will be high dps spells but they aren't very mana efficient, so they are best used for nuking. Be aware that mobs with evasion, such as archers, will take no damage. Fortunately these mobs also tend to have relatively little health and it's easier to just melee them.

    The exact opposite.

    But you get the idea.

Terror (greatsword) for mobs, you'll insta kill a bunch and you don't need to focus on anything, then when you need the extra hps or whatever for a boss, switch to a Min II Quarterstaff.

The Min II quarterstaff is the ultimate DR breaker. Skellies and Bosses and Boss fights for all the times you need to stay centered.
