I've been playing almost a year now and so far my highest lvl character is 16[ I've build other characters up to 10-13 but deleted them as I saw I messed something up that I didn't like.]....


....and I have yet to pick up a ioun stone... EVER.. how rare are these things?? maybe its my lvl and the lvl of the quests I do.

Just curious on some input on these things.

Rare, maybe one every 10-15 capped characters. I have a completionist and pulled one in 12 lives.

Update 13 will make it easier though. Dreaming dark quest will have one on the end reward for every 3rd completion.

Between all my friends we levelled about 50 toons to cap and we saw exactly 1

Both in Desert Rare chests.

I got one of the purple vibrant ones once on a 5th lvl fighter. Didn't know how rare or how important it was and sold it on the AH.

Now, 9 toons later I haven't so much as seen one in a chest.

they are rare but can be found just about anywhere.
I have pulled 3 I think. two on the same night one from a harbor quest then one in STK not but a hour or so apart.
3rd I think was irestone inlet.

guildy pulled one in depths series not long after I pulled my pair (within a week) and another pulled one from the end chest in church an cult (he is a lucky pucker though bloodstone on his first or second run a CPH from tears the other night on a new toon)

I have pulled 2 on my main server since I started playing 2.5 years ago. Both before the introdution of, and without "Suppressed Power" on them.

I've played one toon to cap 3 times, and pulled 2 of the lesser value stones on him. None at all on my other ~30ish levels worth of alts.

From what I've seen, people like to farm Irestone Inlet (on elite?) for them. It must be like farming for the blood stone though...

I've pulled two on one character, both times from Irestone Inlet on elite.

I wish I'd never TRd that toon, as she must have been blessed by the Dice Gods when I rolled her, and I think whatever stat was affecting her pulls was reshuffled in the TR.

I pulled two pale lavenders sitting in the marketplace with the trade channel open Oh, and one shortly after I started playing on my gimpy drow rogue.
