Ok so i have taken forever to get this toon im playing to 20 and i want to TR. I was planning for tempest and having duel scimitars. So i made them. Now based on wht others have told me i should go caster/healer or a different specialist should i stay tempest because i have the GS or say o well and TR into something else? This life i am a fvs

Ok sogoing tempest or something tht can use scimitars would be best if i dont plan on TRing for a while?

First, some advice. You have said yourself that it took you forever to level to cap. And this was your first life. I would suggest making GS HP/sp items, maybe some other nice raid loot (Torc) before TRing as it makes the future lives a lot more easier and faster.

To answer your question, yes, scimitars are awesome weapons for TRing. The only require martial weapon proficiency (or can be enhanced easily with Master's touch scrolls/spell), have a good crit profile and average base damage.

As for what to TR into, that is entirely your choice.
