Question on the Shroud

I am back from a 9 month break from DDO for.. Real life.. and I've started running the Shroud again on all 5 of my Shroudable toons... but I've noticed a change in part 4.

What is up with the blades now? My Paladin Starabelle has over 130 completions of Shroud, and my Fighter/ Rogue Samuiree has 66 currently (my casters are all at about 60 each as well) and the blades... did the AMP them up or something? I used to be able to fight through the blades every time without dying.. myabe a LoH or a Self thrown heal scroll but now... I keep hearing "Everybody out" and it seems I never get out fast enough and am actually dying? with 600 hps a pieces, I know it's not uber but, I'm not used to dying in part 4.

Exactly what you have noticed: blades damage has been increased, especially on hard and elite. In addition to that, hard and elite grant and additional chest with a chance at a large, and the end reward list has been revisited to offer blank ingredients and small/medium/larges. You can check the last 2-3 release notes to find out everything about that.

They are not so bad now. For some time after the update they used to hit very quickly, so a careless (or slightly lagging) character would be dead before he even noticed.

According to the u13 release notes they're being brought down again & will hit less often too... so only have to put up with it for about another week

Yes I have liked the extra chest and end reward... yesterday on my FvS I got a large scale in part for, another in part 5 (extra chest) and one as an end reward... But thanks for the tip in the blades hitting harder, I shall remember that in 3 days when my pack of intrepid toons Shrouds again.
