    Default druid 19/rogue 1: advice on build

    this will be primarily a caster build for leveling mainly for solo play and checking out the druid class. if at 20 i want to do epic, i can LR +1 to pure, or i can TR.

    Some decisions are:
    -whether to go pure balance or half balance/half UMD.
    -feats are tight. Extend? Or FS: Evocation.

    Monk will do me no good coz my evasion will still suck so 1rogue is the only way i can do those elite quests with traps. Won't be the best min maxed build but love the trap skills.What do you think?

    I think the first thing that people will say is with any Rogue splash u take rogue at level 1. Gives u a lot more skill points.
    With 14 in intell as druid u get : 28 as rogue u get 44.

    Also if ur going caster would suggest taking a couple of points outa str and adding them to con so that u get an even number.

    I haven't played as a caster druid pref melee but i would't think you would need empower healing at level 1.

    Apart from that i cant say much as not proficient with spell casters.

    thanks for the reply,

    for the con, im planning on the enhancement for the +1. It would take 2 points to get from 15 to 16 con, only 2 points to get from 12 to 14 strength. This is the lowest Con i'll be rolling in a couple of years but have found that i can get my HP high enough without that much Con. Expecting 500+ at lvl 20.

    for the 1st lvl rogue, i tried rolling up starting with rogue but it wouldn't allow any of the wiz feats, which left me with just Toughness. No other useful feats. The 16 pt difference would've been nice.

    for the empower healing, you are right. I got it at lvl 1, will probably switch it for maximize.

    Im having a LOT of fun with the druid, switching from casting to wolf form and using the trip attack, switching from wolf for zombies to human form for skeletons is convenient while using a Quarterstaff.

    I'm planning to craft a LitII scimitar at lvl 12 to do more melee.
    Also exploring splashing 2 monk, but will test that out first with a veteran 4.

    I see you have extend as a feat and i wouldnt have bothered with that due to the fact that most druid buffs seem to ether have a long lasting time or go by caster level. I would think get Empower Healing then and for level 1 toughness and improved trip then you can get rouge for lvl 1
