    Post My Kung Fu Buffer

    I have built my Kung Fu Buffer Combo!!! and I am currently lvl 7 and it is GREAT! I love having able to go in a Dungeon and Buff up so I Hit Harder and Increase my Health, I do have some Defensive Buffs (Sheild, Displacment, Blur) and those help, just i need to increase my armor class cause i keep getting hit by Melee (Magic is always Evaded, Level 9 Wizards Spells are 2/3 Times Evaded, I dont know how) and for being a lvl 2 Monk/5 Wizard so Far. Im trying to get it up to 8 Wizard Before I start increasing Monk more. Anyone who uses this build DO NOT GRAB POWER ATTACK! IT LOWERS YOUR DPS! I used it with Sun Stance and Wind Stance same dungeon and Without it i am doing more DPS with Sun Stance (25 Str Total with Bulls Strength Buff). I will be putting up my Planned Build Sometime this week, So i want ur feed back on it.

    Why did you post a thread about a build without the actual build in it?

    Every build is great at level 7. Let us know what happens when you hit 15 - 20.

    I know im level 7, im still in progress of getting higer levels. I can tell you this is a Build tat i went off by just starting normal. I did use a Build but changed many parts of it Search Google "DDO Kung Fu Caster" This build talks about it by using a Halfling, I choosed human cause i dont want to waste on Weapon Finesse (Usally dosnt work for me...) I will put up my build by Saturday or Earlier.

    Im so sorry everyone, my character planner is not loading up anymore, if downloaded all of them and none of them work for some reason. I found another build that is Very Similar to mine just i went Kama's and human tho here you go: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=157643

    Not to sound smug, but it's exactly what I predicted. Your spells such as Hypnotism will only work on the target if they roll a 1. Your damage spells will be extremely weak. You chose to focus on slashing weapons for some odd reason. You didn't invest in any AP into the dark path to pick up Ninja Spy or TOD. When you are actually in melee combat, you won't be able to hit the broadside of a barn. If you did manage to to hit something with TOD then they will save. Overall, this is just a terrible build.

    I use Kama's, and Hyp is cause there no other spell to pick so i picked that. i dont mind if you dis on it more you dis better i can improve. and Wall of Fire is gunna be like only damage spell

    So you are going to use the monks weakest weapons (there is a reason you don't see monks carrying kamas.) and your only damage spell that you are focused on is going to help you kill the mobs that are already immune to fire in mid to late in the game. And this is a good strategy how?

    This is spose to be a game thats FUN build WHAT YOU WANT, people wanted to see my build that i thought was FUN so i put it up.

    If you are having fun, keep with the build.

    If eventually you discover that something else is more fun, then play another build. I love DDO cause you can try out all these crazy combinations, and learn things along the way.

    Dunno why but i was expecting this to come thoon.

    Young padawan here is my advice : avoid those builds for now, they only work if you already have enough good gear / past lives / experience / coffee beans / ...

    For a first life, go pure : pure monk, pure sorc, pure barb, ... take your pick. Splashed builds can work well, but it's far too easy to mess things up.

    I'm a bit late to the party with my advice, it seems, but I'll offer it in the hopes that someone else might benefit from my experience.

    I rolled a Clonk and, like the OP, it was a blast to play until, oh, around level 9 or so. At that point, he was MNK/CLR 2/7 and what I found him to be was a barely adequate healer and a terrible meleer. His BAB is just too low to deal any sort of consistent damage, even with decent wraps. As for healing, while others already had Raose Dead, I think I had just gotten Cure Critical. My goal was to create what I called a "combat medic": able to dish out some decent dps while also being able to heal, via Radiant Servant 2 (eventually) while staying in melee range. Now it might still work- he's 2/10 MNK/CLR now and will have RS2 at level 14 and then will go MNK for the remaining 6 levels to end up as 8/12 MNK/CLR- but, as most groups need good healing more than good dps in this level range (or so I've found), he's unable to keep up consistently with the healing demands as a primary healer.

    I think now that, had I to do it over again, I would have gone straight Cleric until level 12 and then switched to Monk so I had my healing capability at max (for a level 12 at least).
