    Default Slayer CPR

    Hi

Slayer needs CPR. Nobody runs it if possible because of the low XP/rewards/interest.

    Here are my suggestions:
XP points for each kill - starting with 1XP at lvl 1 and scaling up from there
Triple the XP for each slayer level (i.e. 10, 25, 50, 100 etc.)
Add many more beasts to every slayer area except The Vale, Amranth and House Cannith
Have kills drop plat and crafting ingrediants
Make slayer areas have multiple parties like Mabar

    cheers
Why not invite your spouse to play?

I enjoy slayers quite a bit. They're a nice change of pace from regular missions and from challenges. I just finished the full slayer count in Searing Heights earlier this evening, in fact. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I'm not objecting to more loot or anything like that, it's just that the feelings of players that you're presenting here are not the same for everybody.

One thing I'd like to see "fixed" is:

Gianthold there are giants etc. that do not count for any faction (Hill Giant Hunters).

Also if a mephit summons another one (vale, desert, etc.) then you should get credit for that as well.

/signed (probably not exactly x3 for all of them, but some adjustment upwards.)

/not signed - too many people in one instance could get problematic.

I'd love to have bigger explorer areas, and a reason to run them (maybe some decent loot besides bloodstones, RoSS, or Icy as well as xp?)

I've always liked the system of lifts they used in Lord of Eyes, those could make for a suitably awesome 3D explorer area.

    Easy fix:

Spawn a supply chest type of reward in your inventory for hitting each slayer amount. The final chest of each slayer count should have a chance at a named drop/tome from the raid or best quest in the area.

Imagine getting madstone boots, or just an amulet =(, as your reward for completing gianthold? Or a +3 tome? That would encourage you to run slayer.

Completing vale slayer should give you a random T3 gs, completely random. So it might be a triple earth dagger, or a fire/air/positive boots that give you the most random stuff. That would be freakin' fun.

Imagine completing Orchard slayers and getting a litany?

Completing amrath slayers and getting a random ring?

This is how to fix slayers. Everyone would run them, and the chance of getting something actually useful would be pretty darn low, so people would still run the raids.

hill giant hunters count towards storm's heart last time i checked. it's been a while though so something
may have broken in the meantime.
Stone giants and cloud giants count towards storm's fist.
I can't remember off the top of my head who Lord Jax counts toward but I wanna say Storm's Eye.

For mephits that get summoned, sure add them to slayer too

    OP:
Slayers are a nice way of getting xp. I don't think they should triple (or maybe even double) the xp
but I do believe they should give the xp more often. Getting all the way to 7000 in the orchard is a loooong
haul with no real rewards other than rare spawns. Same with the upper levels in sands, vale, gh . . .etc.
The Office of the Exchequer. 1750 on all live servers via Pure pugging. Thank you very much to all who helped carry a gimp . (wayfinder was a soloist build)

Exactly. We need real rewards for the long haul, not higher xp values. We already have inflated xp with bravery bonus. The problem is not that we're leveling too slow, especially first lifers. We're leveling too fast, in general. We just need a real incentive to run slayers.
