1750 Favour Tomes

now that tomes are going to survive TRs could we get something added to the list when you talk to the guy for your 1750 favour even if its just a renown token otherwise i expect many of us will just be trashing these

You can turn them into Purified Eberron Dragonshard Fragments.

that's a good point i forgot you could do that what about people who don't craft though? this used to be a nice reward for a large portion of the players other than those who cheated to get pages of +3s be nice to leave it with somethign for everyone even if its pretty small

This sort of end reward list would be a great place to put a huge renown token and would probably be what I would take every time.


The newer players could use another option too...
A Greater Heart of Wood would be cool for the 28pt builds (and only the 28pt builds) that make it.

Love this idea! I have had 32 points builds since 3 days after the desert came out, so wouldn't do anything for me either.

I also agree that more options are warranted with the change on TR tome retention.

It should still offer the +2 Tome Bound to Character Option <- and should always have All Stats in the list.

But I'm just not sure what other options should be available.

I'm thinking Random +3s are too much.

I do like the Lesser/Greater Heart of Wood options, but I don't think that should be limited to a specific life.

Maybe XP, Loot bonus or Guild renown boosts

Could definitely go with an expanded turn in list for +2 tomes, things other than crafting ingredients. Or just some sort of different favor reward instead of the tome. I agree that with the change of keeping tomes on TR that the usefulness of this reward is going to be as useful as.........well, some of the other favor rewards!

Given that every other aspect of the total favor awards are server-wide and useless the second time through, I'm not so concerned about this one losing value as well. Sure, it would be nice if there was renown on the list, but it's not really all that important.

Or better yet, they COULD just make these unbound tomes.

Then if we can't find one that would be useful, we could just AH it for some plat or share it with a friend.

He meant that you don't get anything from attaining drow, champion or fvs favors for a second time on the same server so why should this one be any different.

Personally I wouldn't mind if it got some additional goodies.

Ah, my bad, misunderstood that.

More rewards is always better as some favor rewards (for example the factions' ones) are rather meh. But I am not bothered much, there is only so many lives I can do playing the game and tomes I can't use I can always turn into Shards.

Adding a Flawless Syberis Dragonshard and a Dragon's Blood to the list of tomes might be nice.

i would like to continue getting a +2 tome of choice offered upon reaching 1750 favor.
If they want to add options to that, that's fine. But, Please, do not remove the tome
choice.
