Power Attack Issue

What is sad is that I saw the OP when it was first posted, and my only thought was...'Naw... it couldn't be because he had a BAB of 0 could it?'

But then the in game description isn't clear for players who don't know PnP.

"While using Power Attack mode, you trade up to 5 of your attack bonus for that much extra damage on melee attacks. "
That +1 on the weapon? That is part of your attack bonus, just not "base attack bonus." That description really should get updated as BaB is on ones character sheet.

So I opted to wait and see how it turned out. Wish I could win lotteries as easy. Granted that would require me to play them also.
