Graphic Quality. High end systems

First off let me start by saying that out of most MMO's, DDO IMO (wow acronym overload), has very good graphic quality.

But, (there is always a but), I would love to see some ultra-high / hi-def textures for this game, some of us are running very high end pc's and would like to be able to make use of the power in the game we play the most.

Is this something that would require any backend change ? (I would not have thought so), but could be wrong there depending on how the game is structured etc.

How many out there would like to see better graphics ? (I'm thinking most would).

Age of conan is the only other MMO that I have seen with better graphics, (shame the game is ****),

Is there any reason perhaps that a "mod" could not be done to the game by the community / mod packs / modding tools etc or would that require a change to the very engine that drives the game ?

Personally, and I do realise this is a bit unrealistic, I would love to see graphics of a BF3 type quality, or at least as close as we can get to that quality.

I hate "cartoon" MMO's like WoW etc, I want the game to look or at least try to look as realistic as possible.
