    Post Any Idea's? (Build Help)

    Hi,
I am comming back and i am wondering about having a melee caster (Buffer) and i know everyone would start off to say "YOU NOOB GO CLERIC OR BARD. GOD UR SO DUMB". Ive gotten tht plenty of times! But instead of saying gimmie a build, im gunna try and see if you guys can help me form one from the bottom. I dont have the planner so its guna be just typing. Starting off we need to pick two classes and start at what levels each are gunna be. The one ive been seeing that SEEMS powerful is a 12 Monk/8 Wizard with a Quaterstaff or Handwraps. I thought that would be a good start. Ive seen some videos where its a power house monk that self buffs (Which i love) with Stoneskin, Blur, Displacment, Fire Sheild, and Some offensive spells like Wall of Fire to do a little AoE DMG. So ive been thinking on this Awesome,

    Starting:
12 Monk/8 Wizard (Race: Halfing, Drow, or WF for Heals)

Well thats what i have so far, i know this is bad but this weekend ill profect it once i download it. But for now can the Community Leave Comments on how this class is with any Experiance and tell me What levels i should put each at and what race to pick, OR and other Class combos. (REMEMBER: THIS IS A MELEE SELF BUFFER!)

This sort of build is, in general, terrible. There are ways to make it work but in general you require huge amounts of gear and past lives and lots of friends.

If you want to solo ... go for it, it'll be fun and it will be fine in most normal content. However, it is so easy to make a build that is fun and competent in hard/elite content with which you can get into a good guild to play tough end game content (which even with the gear and past lives this build is unlikely to be able to do particularly well).

One option to have the sort of buffs that interest you is to roll up an elf fighter and to take the dragonmarks. The extra feats from fighter let you fit in the dragonmarks without pain and the dragonmarks are quite cool. Still, these sorts of buffs are easily acquirable on scrolls and clickies so ultimately they aren't that valuable.

UMD = most buffs that a level 8 wizard can provide

So yes, go bard or cleric you noob ^^
