Default Question about the TR and Tomes carrying over

Is this all tomes or does it just include bound ones that your character has eaten prior to TR?

Everything in your backpack/bank is usually untouched by a TR anyway ... so this is about the tomes you have eaten and I guess for tomes you have eaten it doesn't matter if they have been once bound or not as I am sure this information get lost as soon as they are eaten.

PS: If you search the forum there is a confirmation with screenshots of someone who TRed and the tomes apply on the dedicated level automatically...

I'm assuming you are asking a hypothetical questions like 'My character ate a +4 con tome back in 2010, will it carry over?' If so, great question! If not, then I would say no, probably not all tomes, only ones eaten in your current life or subsequent lives. Bound or unbound status should have no bearing. Consider tomes 'bind on eating' in this scenario.

Depending on the size of the tome, colon health & family history pertaining to colon health determines the answer to this question.

I think... what we will keep isn't tomes eated, but Inherent Bonus our toons have at the moment we click the Reincarnate button. Yeah, i know they may seem the same thing, but its not exactly the same thing.

A stupid question: If before update I ate a +2 tome CON at level 7 and, at level 18 a +4 tome CON, after the update, when I will TR and when I reach level 7 I will automatically pick up this +2 tome CON and after, +4 tome at 15? Or I'll get only the +4 tome CON at 15?

It works just like LR and GR. It doesn't actually matter how many tomes you ate, only the ending inherent bonus. You then get a point of that bonus at the proper ML: 3, 7, 11, and 15. You'd get a point of inherent bonus at those levels whether you ate a +1, +2, +3, and +4 or just a +4.

    Default work flawlessly on lamaland

My fvs had the full range of tomes from +1 to +4 , so was the perfect choice to try the tome carry over feature. at the beginning of level 3 my +1 tome took effect. At the beginning level 7 my +2's took effect.(this was my int tome, woot extra skill point). this worked flawlessly for all tomes on lamaland. We shall see how well it works on live, but i will not be going first.

I also tested the this out on Lama and it worked for me as well. In addition I tested if the tomes would last through a second tr which they did. Thanks to Kookie Kobold for the power levels.

Unfortunately the toon didn't have a +4 tome, so I cant verify those, but up to +3 are good to go/

I may have missed it explicitly stated but, if I eat a +2 tome on a character today in the live server, before the update, and then TR after Update 13 is released, will that carry over?

I'm pretty sure too. But I'm still waiting on eating my Monk's +4 DEX tome until after the update. I have a feeling I'll be TRing him after the Enhancements update.

It's really quite simple. TR before u13 wipes tomes, TR after u13 keeps tomes, regardless of when they were eaten (as long as it's in the same life pre-u13).

They game won't go back in time to a previous life of yours, if you lost a tome on TR before, it's gone for good.
