    Default PL feat ideas for final life sorc

    Been building this lil toon for awhile now and I'm just wondering if people have ideas on what past lives work best for a final life sorc.

    Current PLs
    x2 fvs
    x2 sorc
    x1 cleric
    x1 ranger

    Plan is to have 3 fvs and 3 sorc ATLEAST

    My question to you forum junkies is... what else? I'd like to get some wiz in there and maybe max out my cleric? Is the +3 conjuration DCs a good idea though, for webbin or a waste of my time.

    Last lil question is about the monk PL which is +1 to damage rolls, does this work on spell casting as well, or just melee damage? and is it before or after modifiers? In addition do you think it will be worth grinding out 3 monk lives?

    I plan to be air savant, but of course if I can't get my DCs high enough, I'll switch over to water to avoid being a TOTAL NEWB. Anywhooo feel free to fill this forum post with a bunch of useless junk, I'll sort through it eventually

    +3 conjuration is nice for web and PW:Kill, but its probably more interesting for cold or earth savant (niacs ray, acid blast SLAs). If youre 100% sure on chosing air you might skip these and just increase sorc past lives to 3.

    I dont understand why 3 fvs lives should be better than 3 wiz lives, you need at least one wiz life for active and passive PL. Id skip the 3rd fvs life but I suspect you just like playing fvs (and thats why you want the air savant wind dance), so go for it.

    Monk PL is just for melee/ranged, not for spell damage.

    Thanks for the reply, lots of useful info. You're correct about my fvs lives, I really enjoy the class and have caps alts for this reason. With the wiz, I'll probably end up doing 3 as well, depending on how many times my guildies feel like TRing. I'll take into consideration what you said about the +3 conjuration and going water or acid. Plus I can rule out the monk now, thanks for the info!

    If I had an infinite amount of time I would do

    3x paladin for the healing amp (optional)
    3x cleric
    3x wiz
    3x fvs
    4x sorc

    I would do them in that order, because the healing amp would help all, and the +3 Conjuration going into the wiz and sorc lives would give unstoppable Niacs and Web and make the lower levels go by in a frenzied blast. Then do the fvs and sorc lives last, since they are the most fun (for me), and can also benefit from the wiz active pl feat.

    I am so jealous that you are so close to the dream sorc, and I could never be unless they added 24 hours to every day.

    3*Wizard PL is the most important imo. With it you can skip any spell penetration feats (freeing up 2 feat slots) and get +1 to all DCs (from the active PL feat). Combined this lets you dual air/necro spec with quite reasonable DCs (~40 necro which is nice enough).

    3*Cleric would be my next choice for maxing out web DC. Web is just so full of win.

    3*Sorc for the evocation DCs is nice too.

    3 wiz past life FTW.

    Cleric lives I'd skip because I don't ever use web nor any conjuration spells except DB. Highten+max+emp'd electric loop does the same thing for me cause the way I see it mobs die way too fast to be webbed.

    Basicly my combo goes like this: group stuff, lightning bolt on the toughest, chain lightning, electric loop. The rest of the group finishes off the trash/casters if it isn't dead by this point. Rinse, repeat.

    PK when it's off timer for caster mobs. Disco ball+ice storm if I need more CC; if DB does't hit ice storm slows their movement. Irisistable dance if it gets really hairy and my DB doesn't work like it should.

    Think about the spells you like using most and end up using most.

    The fact that Web doesn't ever fail to Spell Penetration and the fact that you can kite something out of the Web and then back in again if it happens to make its save makes Web the absolute best CC spell in the game (once you get a decent DC) as far as I'm concerned.
