Wands not firing!

I have four characters I regularly use, all on the same server. My main character has not been able to use wands with the attack button for a year now, while the other characters will fire wands with said button without issue. I've mapped the wands I regularly use to various other keys, but the fact that I'm utilizing keys that could be used for other things is bothersome. I'd much rather be using "attack" to activate the wand in-hand. Most of the wands I use are wizard wands or cleric wands; I have levels in both classes, so it's not a class restriction issue, nor is my level part of the problem. I've reset the keys several times, but nothing works, and still my other characters on the same server can use "attack" to fire bolts, beams, or whatever from any armed wands. The best I get with my main character is a punch while holding a wand, unless I use the keys I've mapped the individual wand to. Suggestions?

Specifically which wands have you tried? Not all of them will work with the attack button.

Found the issue. After a year of overlooking the obvious, I had "click hold to attack" unchecked on my main character, so my wands weren't activating. I'm back in action, and quite happy. Thanks for replying.
