I just saw this on the OotS site today and knowing how many fans of the comic are here, I thought I'd post up a link to the Kickstarter drive which is smashing records and doing incredibly well. If you're a fan, you can get some great merchandise and at the same time show Rich how much support is really out there for his "little comic".

Yep, he's managed to go from 'trying to raise enough for a minimum sized print run of 1 out of print book' to 'we're doing a full print run of EVERY book'. And still going strong. Says something about just how many OotS fans are out there. And he's only around half-way through -- at the rate things have been going, there is the potential for this drive to be the best in kickstart's history (its already something like #6).

I missed out on the early bribes which included full signed sets, signed prints, etc but there's always a chance Rich will bring out some more goodies.

One crazy one was several full signed sets of the christmas ornaments from the last 8 years or so. He even said he was going to do a little drawing freehand on each ornament back. Crazy stuff.

With 4 days to go the drive is now at $824,061 pledged and its still going strong. Lots of cool swag for pretty short money. If you wanting anything OOTS this is a great time to snag it.

The GIANT is adding new pledge items every few hours until the drive ends, as it has pushed past $913K and is hoping to hit a cool Million. Signed stuff, new stuff, hard to get old stuff, lots of stuff. Drive on Kickstarter ends noon on Tuesday.

Anyone who is even slightly interested should take a look and see the enthusiasm. It's quite a sight.
