Update 13 looking rogue-friendly?

From the early reports, it sounds like rogues are going to have blast in the next update. Lots of SR-heavy and save-heavy mobs make caster attacks harder to pull off. Time for some massive backstabbing damage to re-assert itself on the soft fleshy drow targets.

From what I've seen, U13 is very melee-friendly in general...I don't have a good rogue to test in there, and can't character copy over my blender, which is the closest I have to a good rogue...but it feels like a rogue will do really well there (or any melee, for that matter).

There are traps in the first quest, as well, which means parties will likely want Rogues for that aspect.

As I can't character copy my Rogue over, I couldn't tell you where the boxes are. I don't know if it's an in-the-trap, or not, sort of thing, or through-the-trap, etc. sort of things that would make Artificers viable, as well.

Some of the Drow Priestesses seem to "Spawn" with Death Ward, and it seems to be random. So it seems that some will be capable of being assassinated, while others are not.

Sounds like those Ogre Casters from House D, which cast DW on sight. I've seen a few players FoD'ing before mobs could cast it, though.

I'm not sure. Some just seem to "appear" with it, some seem to go without it the entire fight.
