Good point, and that IS useful for me (My little crafter is coming along nicely!)

But I'll probably take the major pots... 25 of those is actually pretty awesome. Those will last quite a while for me...

Yes they can be wrong when they are not actually just opinions, but statement of fact.

Calling something underwhelming much like saying something tastes great is entirely an opinion. It is not meant as proof for some logical fallacy or evidence of some greater hypothesis. It's a bloody opinion standing on it's own.

I am sure some players will love a +2 tome. That does not make it any less underwhelming FOR ME. You know the person stating their opinion about how something feels to them.

heck yeah. I have 1 caster and 15 characters. I woudn't ever complain about eDQ1 ever again.

+2 tomes are a really nice gift for newer players. That strikes me as who the cake is mostly aimed at.

For those of us with the resources to eat +2 Wisdom tomes on our Wizards - well, we are the ones that have fun with Pork Barrels.


Oh and by the way - the second quest in the chain is amazing. If, like me, you are someone that doesn't care about +2 tomes - get into that new quest on Epic, right now.

All I know if they were giving out +4 tomes, and some guy came on here and said "+4 tomes suck as a reward... I already have a full set!", people (maybe even Cyr) would have said he was wrong... that +4 tomes are a very nice reward.

Eaten that +2 Supreme Tome from the Store, on a Melee, just how useful is the list, SP enhancers - nada, tomes - nada, crafting - nada, pork barrels - nada. See the pattern?
