    it just occured to me, there is a totally classic monster missing from DDO: the carrion crawler! that's my suggestion. thank you.

    Licensing

    The carrion crawler is considered a "Product Identity" by Wizards of the Coast and as such is not released under its Open Game License.[12]

    DDO does not rely on OGL licensing. Beholders and Mindflayers are also not covered by the OGL.

    In fact, the OGL does not apply to video games. So Turbine's license is a separate thing. I doubt Carrion Crawlers are excluded, but who knows.

    Default missing classic monsters

    I have yet to encounter goblins or see mention of them in the Goblin Bane weapon enhancement.

    Just hobgoblins and bugbears.
