    Default the demon's den

Ok! Me and a friend have tried this twice both w/hires and can't seem to get to the end fight. I have read wiki but all i can gather is we should follow the elite only method cause it seems if we kill the ritualist one at a time we can't get back from the third tunnel to make the end fight. Does anyone have any other advice to add?

clear all passages to each ritulist, kill all mobs, one kites snakelady in centr room(Someone who can self heal preferalble)

Once all trash clear, go get all 3 ritualists, gather near middle, kill all ritulists at same time, then snake lady is killable(but can still be a brutal fight)

Ok that makes sense, kinda what i was thinking. But that also means don't aggro the ritualist?

The thing is that all ritualist have to die at the same time (30 sec. aprox from first to last) or they will respawn.
If you do kill them at the same time then the Marilith is vulnerable (still tough, though).

So the usual method is: one to kite the marilith, rest of the people kill trash, split, and kite the ritualists to middle and kill them at the same time.

If you are duoing it, i guess one has to get aggro form the ritualists, get them toghether, prep them all and kill them almost simulataneously.

Then both players take down boss.

So u have to draw each one back from the end of each tunnel, that means the blockade stays. So just clearing the tunnel before aggroing the ritualist doesn't help?

Sure it helps, form the ddowiki (http://ddowiki.com/page/In_the_Demon%27s_Den), where someone better than me wrote:

    Strategy (Elite)
    - To complete this quest there are several steps to make things easier because this quest can go bad very quickly…

    1) Have someone kite the Marilith

    a. Helpful to have fatigue to slow the Marilith for she is rather fast (may no-longer work since Update 7)

    b. Run around the map until the Marilith is vulnerable

    2) Clear the 3 tunnels one at a time starting with the top most and working your way around in a clockwise fashion

    a. The monsters in these tunnels do NOT respawn, once killed they will remain dead

    b. Be sure not to fight or kill the ritualists, once the tunnel is clear to the ritualist run back and clear the other tunnels

    3) Bring the 3 ritualist to center of map

    a. Prep each ritualist like you would the monsters in the 2nd part of The Shroud

    b. Kill all 3 ritualists as quickly as possible (Failure will result in a new ritualist spawning with full health, each will continue to respawn till all 3 are killed)

    4) Kill the Marilith

    a. Once all 3 ritualists are killed, the Marilith is vulnerable to attack

    b. Attack the Marilith until dead

    Depends on the difficulty.

Casual/Normal: Clear each hallway together, kill each ritualist at the end of the hallway. When all three die, the Marilith becomes active and starts coming toward you. Kill her and loot.

Hard: Someone needs to kite the Marilith and keep her occupied while she is invulnerable. Every one else goes down each hallway together, and kills the ritualist at the end. When the three die, you can hurt the Marilith.

Elite: Someone needs to kite the Marilith like on hard. Clear the trash in each hallway up to but not to the Ritualists. Pull each ritualist to the middle, prep them (like in Shroud part 2, the bases/Djinni in VoN6, the dragons in Tor), and kill them within about 30 seconds of one another. Then kill the Marilith. If you don't manage to kill the Ritualists nearly simultaneously, you will have to pull them and prep them again.

You did pull the levers to open the hidden passages, did you?

Haven't run this quest in a while, but this couldn't get to the end fight sounds like you overlooked a lever somewhere

Not QUITE as wicked as Elite Acute Delirium in my opinion, but still pretty intense.

Aye. I'd easily put it in the Top 5 of difficult non-raid elites.

It was quite a bit easier (solo) than elite acute delirium. Could just turn around and shieldblock/torc regen whenever low on sp. Most mobs in here are blade barrier kitable. The elementals have terrible saves.

Elite acute delirium sucked really bad. One of the few elites (95% solo) during streak that had quite a bit of resource consumption.

One tip for other crazy soloers is that when she is following you, run BACKWARDS up the tunnels, she is a bigger threat than any mob and you can use the map to guide you. Summons can also be useful when using levers (careful, many are trapped). She hits way less hard than Elite DQ2 though overall and most shieldblocking tanks can regen sp off her easily.

Or just wait till I solo it again and put LFM for Free chest and favor!

    I don't care...
