Can't stay in DDO

The problem started when I tried to log into a quest in GH. Got stuck on load screen. I restarted my client. Same issue. I restarted the computer and reset the cable modem. Still same issue. I went through firewall settings and ensured that all 4 programs DDO uses were allowed. Still same issue.

This problem started today. I have been playing since Thursday on the new computer with no issues. I haven't made any changes that would have caused it I think.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No idea what "issue" you're talking about.

Are you stuck in the loading screen when you log in? If yes then after a little bit type /death and you will shortly be teleported to your resurrection location.

Don't wait too long as /death takes a few seconds to happen.

- Will this hurt your character? No
- Will this hurt your gear? No
- Can you type while in a loading screen? YES

Most people don't realize that they can still type in a loading screen. By hitting the / key you activate the typing area in your first chat window (typically General Chat). You don't need to do anything else, just /death.
