Default + 3 heart of wood choice

    I have 2 VERY OLD lvl 17 toons, 1 drow, 1 elf.
They are old multi-class that dont fit into todays game, so they became mules.

Both are Rngr/ Rge Lawful Good

Last night I acquired a + 3 heart. and need your input forumites.

    Which toon would you LR?

    What class(s)?

    What weapons?

At lvl 17, I can start their streak (after I clear the cob webs), and get it capped & TR'ed fairly quickly. Both have GS weapons, and thru capping, will get newer gear, Tod sets & new dt armor based on my choice.

All input is helpful, as Im like a kid in a Toys R Us with a $500.00 gift card.

And NO Im not waiting for Druid! Both accounts have an open slot for that!

Considering that a +3 heart can only change 3 classes, it would be very helpful if you would tell us 1) what alignment they are, and 2) what order you took what classes in.

How could you tell at what levels you picked classes on a multiclass build?
I ask because I have a VERY old multiclass bard/ranger build and cant remember at what levels I picked which class.

If your goal is simply to cap & TR ASAP, why not save the +3 HOW? Unless there's something fundamental wrong with either build.

I have to second this question of whether or not its worth investing a +3 heart on a mule toon at level 17. To figure this out I would ask some of these questions:
Are these old 28 pt builds, ie first life characters?
Do you have significant bound to character gear on these characters?
Are these characters that you feel you would leave at level 20 for a while?
Are you the type who likes to TR?

If this heart is unbound then it may be a worthwhile investment to look at TRing these characters (especially since you can't change a race with that heart and honestly the race may be a sticking point). A second thing I would do is ask myself, what character type do I feel that I am missing in my current 'stable.' Maybe you've always wanted a tank or an arcane archer, or something else. If one of these characters is close to that build type that you do want then I may consider investing a heart in them. If not, I'd consider either selling the heart on the AH now if you're strapped for plat or considering it an item that has good trade potential for other items.
