    Default Artificer pet still broken since U12 live release

    I have submitted the following bug but I have yet to see this fixed, much less listed on the known issues.

    The artificer pet still floats 1 -2 meters above the surface after climbing up/down any ladders in any dungeon/raid and becomes bugged and does not function as it should.
    The all of following occurs when this happens:
    1. The pet will not attack any enemy target, it will run at the intended target, but will blankly stare and follow the target.
    2. It will not use any of its enhancements (bluff, intimidate, trip, sunder, etc..) at intended enemy targets
    3. Will not attempt to open any doors or pull levers when selected/activated by the player
    4. Will not frequently follow you throughout dungeon when selected/activated by the player
    5. Will not defend or follow other friendly targets when selected/activated by the player
    6. Will hover over enemy target when it has been killed by any of the players in the party
    7. Will not break boxes if the pet's enhancement line is intended to do so

    Here is the idea i propose that might possibly fix this issue.
    Use or base the pet's scripting on any of the hirelings that can be purchased at ingame vendor or DDO store.

    I have noticed when the player goes up/down any ladders the hireling repeatedly ghost falls until the player has reached the new landing/surface after moving up/down any ladder. At this point the hireling then shortly appears/teleports to or near the player. (which the hireling continues to function as intended w/o error)

    If this was to be done w/ the artificer pet, this would eliminate the whole broken pet/ladder issue. make it where the pet does not use the ladder, but simply teleports/warps to or near the player at the base or landing of the ladder.
    Without knowledge comes uncertian assumptions ( and we know what happens when we assume what we do not know)

    I've always wondered what caused my pet to suddenly glitch like that. So it's been the ladders. They could fill 10 entire updates with nothing but bug fixes!

    I think it's not (or not JUST) ladders that cause this, I've also seen this happen without ladders around. I think it has to do with the pet (having the Hunter of Boxes enhancement) trying to kill a box that it cannot reach for some reason (or not within a certain timeframe, where ladders could be part of the problem).

    For instance, I also noticed this when my pet tried to kill a box behind a gate that I could not open. When it finally came running back to me, it displayed the above mentioned behaviour (which I was able to fix by dismissing and resummoning my pet).

    I don't have the Hunter of Boxes enhancement on my pet and it still goes unresponsive, even in quests with no ladders. I think the problem is bigger than a few anecdotal evidence situations.
