I hope you believe wrong. I will put a vote in for mounts, pets and housing. They add so much flavor to an mmo. There are people that like that kind of thing.

Mounts as a means to get from point A to point B are not needed in DDO. I can traverse the landscape here much faster than I can on a mount in something like Lotro.

Now, a mount as a means to show off. *shrug* sure. Just another cosmetic pet.

I haven't seen it definitively stated if these are cosmetic pets that any character can get or if these are cosmetic skins for artificer (and maybe druid) pets. I know this was just a sneak peak but I am curious.

If they are in addition, can we get a monkey to ride on the artificer pet? (Haven't you always wanted a monKEY?)

This is pointless to me. I don't mind pets; I love my Arti's and would love one for my ranger or a familiar for a caster etc.

Something functional and different from class to class.

But cosmetic pets?

Unless you can throw them out of a pokeball and destroy other monsters I don't want the my little pony version in DDO.

Lets assume that I won't use them (a nice skin for my arti pet would be nice tho) and if they cost actual TP it's even worse.

I can see it now, 1 summons shroud blades, player 2 summons chaos orb, player one dies, player two dies, player three falls off edge of cliff into lava and dies cause hes laughing so hard at player 1 and 2.
