    Default Barb Rage? Drow?

All classes beside the Barbarian have a real avenue for self sufficiency that doesn't need to include hirelings. Whether it's extra feats, and/or enough skill points to reach the right UMD count, the right enhancements or skills, or just being awesome as a caster.* Why not enable Barbs to use UMD/spells/clickies while Raged?

Please don't say SF pots. It's ridiculous that the survivability of a class is dependent on completing a significant portion of your leveling life, and most likely well past when you first cap, in packs that are unpopular with convoluted quests, that a person may not even have. It has huge drawbacks that take good gear to not significantly weaken yourself in other areas, and in an "oh sh**" moment, gimping your stats and possibly run speed isn't a good thing to do. (Not that you wouldn't, HP is better than all in that situation, but it'll probably be an uphill battle)

With regards to Drow, I personally haven't played it, but I can see how -2 con is a big repulsion. I see a lot of posts on this forum deriding the race as a gimp. Why not mainstream the race to unlock it as a 28pt build at 400 favor, that is possible to Champ 32 or TR 34/36pt later on? I would think this would be a good push to making Drow a serious consideration for more than just a class or two or for certain builds, and would standardize the races of DDO.

*(Seriously. I was in an eDA the other day, I say to myself "ok, next wave." They appear, and I click to go attack just a few feet away, and a PM Wails 4 devils dead. Then I think again, "LOL ok, next wave." This took less than 4 seconds. By far the most awesome, and disappointing since I prefer melees, thing I've seen on DDO.)

The drow is just an elf, but with extra stat buffs. I mean, they start with the same stuff as an Elf. -2 con and +2 dex.
But, the added bonus is that they get +2 int and i think +2 cha. Because of that, they cant become 32 or 34/36 point builds. They would become OP.

You choose to play a barbarian with an ability that prevents you from casting. You know this from the start or should have figured it out early.

I'm going to say it. Get Silver Flame pots. I wouldn't mind seeing a different type of pot without the penalties but it probably should heal for a bit less than what they do now.

I think the reason they made them with the -stats is because if you go for UMD, you've typically traded a different skill point for UDM, you have a class that has a lot of skill points such as rogue, or you've allocated a few build points to get enough skill points or upped your CHA. If you rely on Silver Flame pots, you've only invested into the favor and you can still have max DPS. You only need to adjust your gear to be able to compensate for the pots so there really isn't any heavy investement unlike UMD.

These things heal for a lot, especially if you have healing amp. A guildie uses these things and gotta say, they are quite impressive when you can chug just a couple of pots on a WF barbarian and top off. I think he only drank 3 to fill up his health and he isn't squishy.

As far as drow, they start with 10 DEX, INT, and CHA and -2 to CON. They are in a way a 32 point build but they pre-assign some stat points. If you choose to play this race, you should know what you are getting into from the start and if you decide to build somthing that doesn't take advantage of those points, that is your choice.

When you do TR into a drow, you do get extra points, it is just a 30 point build instead of 34 points. You still have the pre-assigned points. When you double TR and you choose drow, you get 32 points instead of 36.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.
