How do I get enough TP to buy it? it shows I only have about 700? Where does it get this amount from? I have more TP on other servers.

Go see sir pointsalot under the harbor bridge (jumping off the right side (when facing the bridge from the auctioneer), or market wall side of the bridge should see you on a ledge where you can find him). You can get 2000 TP right at every 24 hrs.

Is that you Lama total? Or home server total?

You points pool is Account based save for Lama I thought..
which means one account, one pool of Turbine points.

Your account on Lamania has its own separate pool...

On live I didn't think it differed from server to server...

Looks like they will give lvl 7s better gear. Thats good.

I hope they do, as it will be ridicoulous if you just start with some minor +1/+2 gear. As this would mean if you do all low level quests (Korthos, Harbor, ...) for favor you probably hit level 9/10 and still not got better loot, nor have the money to buy better. This would result in first timers enter Gianthold with nearly nothing on and get the heavy beating.

I would still like the option to go 1st level, 4th level, or 7th...
Or maybe any level between 4 and 7...

You get the choice at the beginning to either:
- start at level 1 in Korthos as a ship wrecked
- start as level 4 in Stormreach
- start as level 7 in Stormreach

... so yes, you can skip this if you really desire

I highly doubt they will start letting TRs start being able to use Vet Status. Ironic considering they would fit the description a little better. But yeah, TRs will imo always be starting from lvl one. Even though letting them get a boost from Vet Status to lvl 4 would allow them to TR again faster which would mean more money for Turbine.

Meh, this is mostly a non-issue. The first 7 levels of TR'ing are the least painful. Now if they whacked off the LAST 7 levels, THAT would be epic. Not that I'm looking for that to happen. Or even approve of the idea. Except maybe to flatten that xp curve a bit, but that's another thread entirely.

I was kind of hoping they'd allow you to leave anywhere between 1 & 7..,just allow the pilot to send you to the tower at any time between 1-7 (Drop the dream selection from lounging dragon lady on the boxes add dialog saying "Speak to the minotaur to get your stuff and the pilot if you wish to leave) leaving at 1-4 will get you lvl 4 gear, 5-7 will get you Lvl 7 Gear

I have a spare character parked next to him so i just have to grab points on my way to whichever character I'm gonna play with. (Or log in, grab points, log out when I don't have time to play.)


As for the topic of Vet II - last time I tried last day or two, I was still unable to get off the ship with my new level 7.

It is broken. You're not getting your starter gear until that is fixed. Your only options now are to either /death or buy a teleport rod.

Char ain't important, he's just parked for the time being. Just wanted to point it out for anyone reading thru who may not have been aware of the continuing issue.

It works fine for me IIRC the issue only pertain to people buying VET II who dont have VET I...although I haven't been on Lama in a few days

No until a few hours ago it was not working and was posted as a Known issue the last update before today.

I can't log into Lamannia... but I had Vet Status II and made 2 characters with it... it was 1495TP

DDO Store on Lam is screwy... had to knock off filter to get to some items.


gear isn't too great... but you can use all Chrono items and/or Red Fens starting at level 7...

and only a level from level 8 Pirate gear [ can use lvl 4 gear till then ]
