I was happy to see some change with SoS, but was a bit disapointed: a random chance of eldritch or tempest rune (even the sov. rune, given the very large number of different effects, most of which near if not completely useless) won't change anything about the horrible grind crafting a DT armor is, especially when I see the modifications to all the other quest chains.
IMO, as I suggested in the appropriate section of the forum, making the runes BtA would be more simple and more efficient. Maybe you would still have to do 100 times the quest to get the rune you want, but at least, you could get the ones you want for the other characters along the way ...
