    I think with the new crop of epic gear coming out and the stuff from challenges, much of the epic stuff in the sands needs a complete overhaul.

    Some of it is fine as it is. Eg. Epic Ring of Spell Storing, Epic Marilith Chain, Epic Chaosblade, Epic Thornlord.
    But the rest of it is now pretty much junk. Some of it just needs one or two things added some needs completely redoing, would be nice if this could be visited post u13.

    Well, to be fair, a lot of the sand epic items were junk right when they came out of the door. Then the general power creep didn't help of course...

    Epic Templar's Retribution - Bastard Sword (2d10) - +6, Cold Iron, Holy burst, Incandescence, Good Blast, Brilliance, Godly Wrath, Empty Red Augment Slot

    ADD a longsword version preety please, makeing it as a weapon that requires an extra feat efectively makes it useless to all those who could use it and cant afford a feat

    You can always use it even if not proficient in it you just take a -4 penalty to hit if you do not have the feat. I have a character that uses khopeshes but does not have the feat shrug..

    i dont ask for it to be replaced i ask for adding additional version of the weapon

    and i realy like to hit with a weapon, not just swing it to chase fly away, so useing it without feat is out of question.

    Wish weapons like these would be released as a single item with a special property on it that reads:

    Transmutable: You may put this weapon in the stone of change with a "craftable" weapon of any other type to change this weapon into that type of weapon. For example, put this weapon in (currently a longsword) with a craftable bastard sword to change this into a bastard sword.

    Bogs the loot tables down less and ensures that we can get these into as many hands as possible. In the event that the thing is intended to not have its benefits tacked onto a khopesh or something, have it read:

    Limited transmutability: You may turn this into weapons X, Y and Z.

    Not a bad idea, ESOS? How about duel ESOS's on khopeshes?

    There's a reason I didn't say that this should be applied to all weapons.

    Oh, and the ESoS template would only be:
    +10 enhancement bonus
    +1.5 base damage

    If you applied it to a khopesh you would get:
    +10 3d8 (rounding up), 19-20/x3

    Honestly, that's not especially impressive.

    I have revamped my monk and had a necklace slot open the +2hit/damage is nice but i am looking for somthing epic or that proc on a attack. to be able to leave your emeny in darkness on a attack to me is a blind effect. i never bothered to look at the ring since i dont have a ring slot open. but i think i will go with a epic necklace.

    Because getting your 3d6-6d6+11 sneak attack damage when you have aggro is worth a lot more than +2 attack and damage.

    This, a thousand times this!

    Its understandable that some weapons are *meant* to be a very specific weapon type (IE 90% of staves, most bows, handwraps, etc)... but then they roll out things like Divine Vengeance, which is all well and good... unless you're one of the semi-common DROW paladins who are specced pretty heavily for Rapier/shortsword usage.

    If the
    devs only listen to one more community suggestion ever, i hope this is it!

    +10 3d8, 18-20/x4...

    Suddenly, it's better than the actual eSoS. And you get a second weapon on top of it.

    Makes con opp cloak yay............epic cloak of flames.........finishes con opp helmet yay...................epic darkstorm helm.........................guess im making gloves.......-.- with all the new accessory gear coming out, can we get the gs deconstruction hurried a bit? im pretty sure im not the only one who has a gs that got disowned due to some of the newer gear thats been coming out lately

    Then noone would use it.

    The weapon is good for exactly one reason - glancing blows when used with a shield.

    Its crit profile is not good enough to compete with other weapons.
