After my TR I did at least 2 runs on TOD with my boots of the mire equiped. The icon was the same I didn't notice and thought I had switched to the correct boots. I didn't get banished though.

Nuh, boots are not that shame like components, really. Boots stuff happen to everyone...

No, I did the cannith boots of prupulsion dance. My Mantle ran out and I switched to the wrong ones. I'm leaving those at the bank until turbine changes the icon lol

My SP potions and tavern potions are next to each other, and sometimes i use the wrong one. :P Pretty expensive to refill mana on the ship that way.

My main Soondar completed her boots short time before getting ready to TR. I was determined to get Essence of Cleansing so I could actually wear my second GS item, then TR. But I also wanted to see Tower of Despair, at least once. So after cleaning the gloves I join a ToD PUG. While waiting for 12th person, I try to enter Devil's Battlefield. "You may not enter in a raid group" Hmm, how are you supposed to get to the Tower?

12th person never appears, several people drop, and leader quits out of frustration. No ToD. Next day, same thing. Day after that I open LFM for ToD, and quit when only two people answered within 40 minutes. Not a popular raid on Cannith apparently.

But my question is still not answered: If raid parties cannot enter Devils Battlefield, how am I supposed to get to Tower of Despair? I ask around, and learn about teleporter in the Tower. Yes ladies and gentlemen -- I managed to flag for ToD and to get Boots of Anchoring without ever getting Tower explorer, let alone Tower teleport function! Would THAT be an embarrassment if a party ever actually filled up!

Eventually I got to the Tower just to see how teleportation mechanic works, then TR'd. Still never ran the raid.

Thats so not embarrassing at all, really...
Every toon we roll/tr need to do the run the first time we wanna run ToD with it. Just say in party "brb - need to do the run", and thats it. Getting flagged/boots has nothing to do with the run.

Actually, if you point it out you're a first timer, and the leader dont ask you if u have done the flagging/boots/run - its his fault, not yours.
