Default Voice chat unavailable, please help.

I recently bought the Corsair HS1NA, which comes with a microphone. This mic works perfectly in skype, vent, windows recording, everything but ddo. When i go to the Audio input device setting in the audio options, it doesn't even show the mic as an option, however everything is set up correctly in windows and it works for every other application. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Did you log into a character? DDO's Voice options are per-character so they don't show up at the bottom of the Audio menu until you're on a character in the game world.

If you still don't see voice as a section then or the menu's for it don't display the mic as an option then when you get a chance post a dxdiag file (the steps on how to do so are in the 'how to get help' sticky I've linked in my sig).

My suspicion in that latter case is that DX isn't reporting it to the game correctly or at all as a sound input option.
