    Default Int based rog questions

So I have farmed up two epic midnight greetings and wearing an epic utility vest for the +2 exc int.

I have a halfling that is str based assassin atm. I would like to switch him to int build but I have a couple questions.

I have a +3 str tome that I already ate, but what should my stats look like? This is my idea.

    34 point build
    Str:12
    Dex:16
    Con:14
    Int:18
    Wis:8
    Cha:8

That alone will give me an assassinate of 42
If I go 5 lvl ups in int and work in a +1 exc I could get my assassinate up to 45.

My big problem is hitting when I don't use my EMG. They aren't fantastic as boss beaters(slotted good and can get buff from arti) I am afraid my to hit will take too much a hit to be worthwhile. I doubt I would ever bring this build into elite/epic lob/ma.

I do have +3 exc str from ToD ring, so if I do start at 12, then with tome and +6 item, I will be at 24...

What are your thoughts? Do I drop down to a 16 int or put more lvl ups into str? What is considered a good enough assassinate? 42? 44?

I would love some input before I LR.

take the weapon finesse feat. problem solved.

power attack, TWF x 3, weapon finesse, toughness, improved critical = 6 feats. means you won't have active past life, but should be doable. assuming you have a lot of really good HP-boosting gear, you could maybe get away with ditching toughness, but do try to stay at least over 400 HP imo (if you don't do epics, you could probably get away with less most of the time, but i'm guessing that since you have 2 epic midnight greetings, you probably do in fact run epics fairly often. 400 HP isn't a strict requirement, but it *will* make your life much easier).

that said, there are other dex-based weapons. there's an epic short sword in the sands i think, plus there's definitely the staff of nat gann and breeze, and i'm pretty certain there's a few more.

you can also use any weapons with the finesse ability, and it should grant you the feat essentially... that is, you can use, say, a cannith crafted weapon with finesse on it in your off hand, and something else in your main.

but really, most of the time you should be just fine with the midnight greetings anyways.
