Weapon slots

I'm going to have a problem with weapon slots. I want major lightning (arcane even better) lore, +3 exceptional CHA and superior potency VI. I only have 2 hands though! Any expert sorcs or wizzies out there that can help me out? I don`t want to spend countles hours grinding out rare drops but is that my only option?

Elven Relic Robes - from Gianthold. - ML10 - Evocation Focus, Arcane Lore, Minor Spell Penetration VI

A bit harder to get
Blue Dragonscale Robe - ML14 Potency VII, Greater Arcane Lore, Spell Penetration VII, Greater Lightning Resistance

Dragon Touch Armor - ML16 Sovereign Rune of Magic -Greater Potency VII

Rings from ToD - ML18 with Exceptional Charisma

Belts from Amrath - There is one for each element 3 clicks for 3 minutes of 50% bonus does not stack with Potency, there are also 2 belts with 2/3 clicks of 60 of 50% bonus to any spell damage/restoring.

One trick used when attempting to juggle multiple enhancements is to use enhancement potions or clickies. Specific elements last 3 minutes while Efficient Spell only lasts 60 Seconds. Potions are fast to drink and leave your hand free for something else. However, they do cost extra money and don't stack with potency

There are options to reslot all of those, but potency is probably easiest to replace with clickies or, if you want, an Amrath necklace.

The belts are actually 75% for Lv8 or lower spells, not 50%

Thanks! Does a blue dragon scale drop every time you kill the Blue Dragon? Even so I have to kill a named blue dragon and named cloud giant (within seconds of each other no less) 20 times???

Clickies. I have an assortment of clickies for 2 elements and even the odd element that I don't have specced but need for a certain enemy. Gives you 75% dmg for 3 minutes time. They sit right on the hotbar alongside the weapons settups.

For lore you could switch out major lore items or as said find it in gear like the blue dragonscale robe or a couple others. Could even give up 3% and take a elven robe fore arcane lore so to not have a slew of weapons setups.

With ice the scepter from delerium (ice one gives major lore and glac 8 to cover polar ray. and either emp or max reduction of 2 I think.)

And no. I wish a scale dropped every time. U'll have to farm tor norm alot. Hopfully lucks on ur side and scales drop. On the other hand scales have dropped quite a bit. At least on arg. So you can trade other scales for blue, or larges for blue. If your a high lv sorc farming blue shouldn't be to hard. The giant stays back and the dragon comes so I just cast a couple dots on him and ice storm, then turn to the dragon and unload the main spells, drop em then turn to finish the giant.

No, more like 60-70 times.

greater arcane lose is 9%crit, 0.25 crit multiplier. major is 9%crit 0.5 multiplier. there are no major arcane lore items that i am aware of.

but major arcane lore can be made using a skiver/greenblade + TOD archmage set. add +2 exceptional intel to it. but you will have an useless +1 exceptional intel bonus from the ring instead of +1 charisma which you need to slot into some other area, a second tod ring/epic slot. keep one of your primary and secondary elemental focus tod belts to swap in as clickies. one of those pirate event daggers make a nice spot for the other hand. if you use a skiver i suggest making it an off hand item as it also holds 200 sp which you don't want to loose when you swap weapon items for clickies, provided you don't have another archmage item.

the alternative to the skiver/green blade is a blue dragon robe/docent. and i think they increased the drop rates of the scales and stuff in tor. you should be able to get 20 blues in 40-50 rounds provided you trade in the other scales for blues.

The bracers can be obtained with a few hours of farming.

The robe... a few weeks.

I would use clickies for spell damage. There are too many weapon choices to dedicate one hand permanently to it.

I use mainly electricity, but also sometimes cold, force (disintegrate), cyclonic blast and even fire on occaison (firewall can still situationally be useful even without enhancements). That is a lot of clickies and i don't think i could even use clickies for some of those spells (disintegrate and cyclonic blast?)....

Eardweller is the ultra-max-***-clicky per disintegrate. And even all of the others.

If you want to nuke a boss, use the eardweller.

If you want to nuke random mobs in normal questing, get at least the Superior Spark and Freeze VIII clickies.

I exclusively use clickies for spell DPS. Without them you're giving up 15-25% damage which doesn't make sense to me.

Eardweller is the bomb, the rest are good. Superior Potency VI is worthwhile to have as a swap in. Superior Efficacy VI can work too (though it's short).

The Tier 3 Level 16 Ornamental Dagger from the Cove Event gives you Major lightning/fire/ice lore as well as Sup Potency 6 on one item.

Bracers from Cannith Challenge are also a good alternative for Major Lit lore until the event comes back around, and a lower ML also.

a few hours of farming??? wouldn't i have to run like 30 challenges, some of them on epic, to get the full bracers of the wind?

finally got my epic bracers of the wind. yeah! need to get an eardweller though. not sure i have the patience to farm that though....
