Default who should be my "master crafter"?

I have recently started my first artificer, who will have a +10 bonus to crafting skills at level 20 (he's not human, so he doesn't have dragonmarks of making).

So far I have used one of my other characters (also not human) to craft items, and his current crafting levels are in the mid 50s.

Is the +10 bonus the artificer will get so good that it's worthwile to make him my new "master crafter", or is it better to stay focused on the other character?

    Two aspects to consider:
    • How far in crafting do you want to go? If lvl 70ish for holy burst and greater bane, no use to regrind.
    • Do you TR? Why not TR the other character to human arti?

yeah, it depends where you want to go. a while back, some people did some number crunching to see how much you would save by making an artificer. i seem to recall 75 was the cutoff if you wanted crafting level 100; anything lower than 75, you wanted to re-start. *but* that was with +20 levels, not +10.
