Flawless victory Epic LoB on Khyber, 25 minutes

what i find most interesting is that there seems to be a disproportionate backlash against a second place finish

mmm imo this was no "2nd place" run.

This is the game-wide first flawless victory eLoB and may end up being the only one for quite a while. Imo it's an insanely impressive top notch achievement no one has matched, if anyone does such a run be sure to post it.

Consdering the raids been out some 4+ months, and there have been hundreds of epic completions, all with deaths.. It's a pretty sick feat and definetely not purely "luck" as one person tried to claim lol.

Every death in LoB is preventable. I've died on every other run ive done, and none have been "luck", all have been due to mistakes on either my part or others.
This one we simply had our A games on and had all players with enough experience and skill to pull it off.

Sure there is the odd laggy run where u get a lag death, but for the most part its not been the case.

Yea time wise it wasn't the fastest, but that wasn't our plan.

Rest of ur post I agree with, some ppl just trying to be starting something and posting silly stuff =)

Congratz guys, really nice run! Anyone has a video or perhaps cares to share the tactics? Things like:

:: how many were scroll healing?
:: who destroyed the pillars?
:: the tank was using AC to "dodge" some hits or just using damage mitigation?
:: what debuffs were you using on LoB?
:: did you kept the pillars up to get center buff?
:: did you swap tanks because of Mournlands?

The strategy used was essentially the same as the one posted in my video guide here:

Also quite siimlar to what was done on the Thelanis run they posted a video for.

One enhancement to the strategy missing from my video guide they used to get the everyone close to the tank during leaps was also put into place.

Other difference in their run is their tank does a LOT more shield blocking, likely thanks to his double intim timers as a halfelf. We used half orc tanks who block as much as possible, but have to dps a lot too to mantain threat as they only have 1 intim.

I did off tank when his mournlands got too high a cpl times on my dwarf bbn. But it was litterally for maybe ~10 seconds, and only a cpl times = ~30-40 seconds tops total, mostly near the end, as he otherwise did a extremely good job at shieldblocking to rid him self of it.

Big part of the healing was the clrs radiant servant aura, letting us spam frenzy/cleave without requiring additional mass helaing.
