90 Unbuffed AC

Just relaxing on the ship with my 90 Unbuffed AC



If i could be bothered to sit there getting Haste Guard and Cannith Combat Infusion to trigger at same time could get a Screen Shot of 118 with every AC buff in the game. And then also 130 with some enhancements changes on top of that.


Heres a bit of me faffing around with it.



Voila, AC works in epics, you just have to have every AC item in the game to do it :P . Note i could go higher than the AC of 95 used here if i bothered to buff.




Finished set up after 2 years of trying to pull an Envenomed Cloak seal.

From looking at the screenshot it's probably this

10 base
11 dex
17 armor (+7 enhancement slotted red dragon plate)
11 shield (tier 3 +7 slotted alchem tower shield)
9 natural armor (+6 epic seal of the earth +3 3 pc abishai)
5 deflection (+5 protection item)
12 dodge (+3, 2, 1 items and +4 stance and +1 shield ritual and +1 armor ritual)
6 misc (2 stalwart set bonus 4 insight)
9 feat (5 combat expertise, 1 dodge, 3 stalwart enchancements)

Well, i wouldn't say AC works in epic content by posting a pic of fighting a Bloodtide Creeper. I have hit 94 (yes buffed) on my Paladin and it still didn't help that much. I just wish I could have a dex mod that high and still have it matter

The Dex Mod is the reason i changed to Fighter. And concerning Epics. The higher it goes the more it helps.

He has owl's wisdom pots on his hotbar.

That's pointless in a variety of situations I can name:

- Beholder anti-magic; a lot of people run Hound of Xoriat, it's very popular. eVoN2 and 3 have beholders that are unavoidable.
- Abbot dispels buffs; he's very good at it due to his high caster level.
- Various dispelling casters in quests; mainly desert runs that have drow scorpions such as in eOoB.

Not to mention those potions only last 7 minutes each and cause a moderate drain on cash to maintain a stack of 100. You really want to be able to drink SF potions at all times.

There are 2 Yellow Slots to fill still. 1 is going to be wisdom 6, the other is going to be resistance 4. just have to grind some more Tokens.

And yes was using Owls Wisdom Pots in the mean time

my opinion for ac is that good to have BUT for me the best is to have hp-saves -dps most important those than ac

For the grumblers amongst you that the top unbuffed AC in Full Plate and possibly amongst the Pyjama wearers aswell isnt enough (feel free to correct me if im wrong but provide a Screen Shot). Heres the finished version with the epic slots filled and finished set up. Just miss an eSoS now. Oh and the Large Guild Augment slot on the goggles is not filled.



And in response to Ana. More than enough Hp to do eLoB. Perfectly respectable and even in some cases decent saves for a fighter. Decent DPS (Won't say great as im not a kensai or a Barb and currently dont have the eSoS yet). So why not put AC into the mix aswell and tank every quest in the game easily.

When you hit 20, drag your bars all the way down and cover your xp tracker. Saves on screen real estate when you have lots of hotbars like you seem to

Even, if he lowers himself to running HoX, he won't need SF pots to survive there, not with this ac. Normal Cure Serious pots will do lol. And as for the beholders in eVoN2-3, they are pushovers anyway, always time to heal up after they are dead.

In any sane Abbot run no sane melee will be drinking healing pots. Divine mass heals will be more than enough. Why waste the dps?

I'll grant you this one, but with his AC, not even this will present much of a problem.

In one sentence you say that pots that cost less than Cure Serious pots are a drain on cash, while in the next you talk about drinking SF pots all the time. Really?
