Default A Couple of Cleric Questions

    Hi,

Just a couple of questions relating to being a cleric.

Does anyone know if the Alchemical Conservation on the Alchemist's Pendant, that gives 1 extra turn undead, stacks with the Token of the Faithful that gives 2 extra turn undead?

What is better for boosting healing spells, Devotion or Potency?

I do not think they would stack, at least other items that add turn undead attempts do not stack that I have gotten my hands on.

Ardor is better than devotion because it is 75% although it is a clicky. Potency affects all your spells so if you had to choose between Devotion and Potency, Potency would win out. Generally I try to have Potency VI on my clerics for blade barrier and comet fall and carry at least 2 items with Superior Ardor clickies for 18 minutes of boosting the cure and heal spells that I can cast.

Using the Ardor clickies I do not have to turn metas on for the cure and heal spells save quicken.

the alchemical pendant extra turn does not stack with token of the faithfull.
    - but the alchemy set is superior to one turn.

devotion is "potency" for healing spells, but cheaper because it affect only healing spells. potency affect healing spells and bladebarier punishment etc.

usually devotion is easier to obtain.

Watch out when using items that grant an extra turn, rage, dragonmark, action boost etc. For example the Alchemist's Pendant, the Token of the Faithful, the Chimera's Crown, TOD sets, the Sacred band or the various Necropolis scarab turn ins that have Lesser Turning on them.

When these items are removed/swapped for another item, an amount of turns/rages/dragonmarks etc. equal to the item's boost are removed regardless of whether they actually are the extra ones or not.

Thus if you swap items enough times, you can run yourself out of turns/rages/dragonmarks etc. due to a bug that doesn't appear to be getting fixed anytime soon. I've submitted several bug reports on it myself and can point you in the direction of other threads on that topic if requested. Unfortunately, the in-game bug reporting tool is buggy itself, but I have found the forum-based bug reporting tool to be less frustrating (though it requires alt-tabbing for me, as the windowed mode moves my UI all around )

Thank you for the replies, a Sup. Potency item & some Sup. Ardor clickies on the list to get.
As for the pendant, I didn't think it would stack, but its still a nice item for a cleric.
I have not noticed the bug with the turns, but i will keep a look out for it.

    Thanks again.

I recently completed my Alchemist's set and was wondering as well why I didn't get my extra turn.
Time to replace my "Signal of the Silver Flame" (Lesser Turning) trinket with something else!
