Question regarding point cards

I received one of the $19.99 point cards as a stocking stuffer.
The $19.99 card gives you 400 FREE points, for a total of 1,600 Turbine Points.

I was curious whether the bonus point special applies to the card if it were redeemed before Jan 2nd, or if the points were a straight 1600 regardless of when it gets redeemed.
If it gets the bonus points I'll redeem them now, but if it does not then I'd like to hold onto it for a rainy day.

Why wait? Redeem the card, and then you don't have to keep it... unless you're thinking of getting an alternate account.

No extra points if you want those buy those prepaid visa cards and buy points that way learned that the hard way myself

Why wait? Redeem the card, and then you don't have to keep it... unless you're thinking of getting an alternate account.

If I redeem the points right now I'd probably spend them on frivolous junk that I don't need. If I save the card I can use it to purchase the next pack that comes out, or a new class, or something like that.
But if I was going to get the extra points from it, then it might have been worth redeeming now.
