The current purchased Favored Soul past life feat Acolyte of Divine Secrets is Avenging Light, a pretty lame damage spell-like effect. Change this feat to something people actually want on their characters: Leap of Faith 10x/rest!

um how many on the taken feats clickies are actually some thing that people want?
(note im not talking about the +1 dc on wiz past life, but the clickie portion of it)

like this idea better than your one for the ranger past life but it seems as if it would have very limited utility
Beware the Sleepeater
Past life feats seem as unbalanced as the classes.. Maybe they intended it. FVS weak past life since they're strong already.
Atleast sorc's get Mental Toughness worth of SP + 10 Sla's. At least give the FVS SP as well to go with whatever else clicky. Same with the Cleric, CLW x 5 is just a little better than a Cure Serious Pot, isnt it?
This is what I think will happen:
The servers will be flooded by people playing FVS just for the past life.
Not that I think that this fact alone is bad, but having so many people running with leap of faith seems very unbalancing.

the wizard one is very good actually, as are the paladin one (for non-paladins), the ranger one if you have an AC character... i understand some people specifically aim for a monk past life on their artificers so that they can have a few seconds of evasion when needed.
i would disagree though. leap of faith would be awesome, but at present the ways to gain it include 11 levels of monk, 17 levels of favored soul, 18 levels of sorcerer, and once every 10 minutes from a pair of boots. none of these make me think it's a reasonable choice for a level 3 feat.
and on a side note... the sorcerer past life feat granting essentially mental toughness is not a good thing. it's a feat that nobody should take apart from qualifying for a prestige enhancement anyways... at least the elemental thing can potentially be somewhat useful, and is in fact worth dramatically more than the mental toughness effect (10 free max/emp'd spells is worth 400 SP from the max/empower alone, never mind if you factor in that the spell itself should have a base cost, or other possible metamagics).
also, the cleric one hits for far more than most people seem to think. by level 20, it's hitting for 10d4, and can be maximised and empowered, and boosted with items. it is impossible to interrupt as well, from what i understand. it makes a very nice panic button, and is easily boosted to useful levels, much better than a potion.
10d4.
Max 40
+20 empower
+40 maximize
= 100
+ 20% healing amp (Avg toon)
= 120 max
Min = 30. Avg = 60.
Can reach 200 with more Healing amp.
Sorry i mistook Healing Word's power for Cure light wounds.. 10d4 is a lot better..
Re: Sorc past life, it actually doesn't even qualify for mental toughness.. Though I am planning to get both it and mental toughness for a Pale master.. Thought i'd have enough feats to spare.. and PM's do use up a lot of SP..
Anyone who disagrees is a Terrorist...

^ Oh ic, unfortunately not for PM. One of the forms require Mental toughness specifically.
AA here lists it as one of either:

I would easily see that working.
