Okay. So i have a +4 unbound con tome that is just sitting in the bank. So I will be raffling it off.

There is a 1 FRDS buy-in. There are 20 spots available and you can buy as many spots as you wish. A roll off will be held after spots are filled and all reds have been collected.

Somebody else did this exact same thing last festivult with a +4 str tome. Though they also gave 10 reds back I think in secondary prizes.

Even if he didn't give 10 back, or anything else. I'd say 40 reds is a fair price for a +4 con tome. But that's just me.

The accepted exchange rate FRDs to LDS is 2-1 yea?

So, 80 LDS. They are currently selling on the Thelanis Ah for 350k-850k. The top end is way to high tho IMO, so lets say 400k each.

80 x 400,000 = 32,000,000

32 million plat would take one heck of a long time to grind out selling vendor trash. Thats assuming the people bidding looted their FRDS rather then brought them.

I mean, obviously the going price is whatever he sells it for and thats kool.... Im not even close to being able to bid for an item like this, but, to me, it seems a huge amount.

You are thinking like you are each putting up 40 reds. That's not the case. Its like having 20 tod completions instantly. Personally worth 2 reds to me.

You are thinking like you are each putting up 40 reds. That's not the case. Its like having 20 tod completions instantly. Personally worth 2 reds to me.

I'm the knucklehead who raffled off the +4 STR tome with a 2 red buy in, it wasn't filling until I upped the ante to a second place prize of 5 reds and a third-place prize of 5 LDS. Then it filled, quickly.

It's CON though, it's not the same as a DC affecting stat like INT, WIS, and STR. The people who have it all want that 1 extra to-hit, point of damage, necro DC, etc . . . that they cannot get anywhere else. CON can get you 20 more HP . . . about the same value as an LGA.

I wish you the best of luck in this, but I don't think as many people will value this as a DC affecting stat. It's better than a DEX tome though!

Im sure he'd do it the same way as Junk did it prior IF this happens. Second would be made up of the 2nd roll that takes place. Meaning you get 12 people ina raid Most of which if not all that are in this raffle. You Roll once, First roll say its 17 gets the +4 con tome, you roll again say its 17 again, its a reroll since same person cant win 2 times. Roll again 12 this time, number 12 makes some profit off the 2nd prize say (5 reds prior) then roll again 8 this time. that player gets 3rd prize (5 large scales = 2.5 red's) turns some profit but very little. numbers 1-7,9-11,13-16,18-20 get nothing. BUT had the chance to win any of those prizes. he makes off with 32.5 reds, and 2 others make off with some profit. Thats atleast what happened last time. How ever OP isnt telling the prizes for 2nd and 3rd which gives little to no incentive to join. For all i know 2nd could be 1 large scale lol. But i know the OP and i think he would be a bit more generous than that. GL Peak.
