Nearing 20 on my main; well nearing 19, but with the bonus 20% and (for once) good quest management, I should hit 20 soon after Christmas.

I'm going for another Barbarian life since this one was pretty painless; I can't speak highly enough of the bonus 10% movement speed and sprint boost from an early 1 level barb splash. Incidentally, Khyber seems to be more accepting of weird splashes than ever before. The only real rejection from an lfm I had this life (7 Arti 6 Rogue 7 Barb) was from a Hound run.

Anyway, my next build is going to be 9 Artificer / 2 Fighter / 9 Barbarian.

The 9 Artificer gets a 4th level infusion, which will be Lightning motes. Coupled with the full DM Storm line + Maximize and Empower should make for a solid levelling build.

I'm obviously also taking all the ranged feats since you would crazy not to given the Artificer's ridiculousness with a crossbow due to rune arms (and Frozen Tunic nowadays; though I really wish they'd fix the bug that forces you to choose between the Freezing Ice proc and getting your extra rune arm damage. You do however keep the rune arm special effects like banishing or lightning strikes even if you go with the Freezing Ice proc, so it's not all bad).

Enhancements:

Explanation of feats/order:
-Fighter to get IC and IPS as soon as they're available, plus I just needed the extra feats.
-Augment Summoning as the augmented dog is a powerhouse at low levels and once the dog is useless, due to being capped at level 9, puddings from Ooze II greensteel are sufficient justification to me for keeping the feat.

Cons:
-I get Maximize and Empower pretty late. I'm hoping the Dragonmarks aren't a total waste until Maximize at 15, but it's not a huge deal if they are.
-No evasion.
-More group rejections for being freaky lookin'.
-Rubbish rune arm damage.
-Rune arm will charge slow as molasses.
-No real utility in the subsequent 8 barbarian levels.

Pros:
-Can get to TR guy at cap very quickly. Has UMD for teleporting to House J, then Sprint Boost and, as it is a barbarian class skill, good jump to rapidly ascend the floating staircase.

Open to critiques; ideally someone smarter than me will have a brilliant insight allowing me to take Empower and Maximize earlier, but I don't think it's possible.
