I am approaching cap with my sorc that I am thinking of TR'ing into another caster type (either another sorc or maybe back to a cleric) and was thinking of taking the arti dilly for the bonus to scolls it provides. Is this worth it?

My feeling is no. If the Improved Artificer Dilettante lines improved the actually useful parts (either the UMD bonus or the caster level on scrolls) it might be decent, but I just don't think it's worth the investment. Going helf on a sorcerer, I'd take paladin dilettante for +5 to all saves. On a cleric, I'd take fighter for proficiencies/strength, rogue for DPS, paladin for saves, or monk for healing amp, depending on build.
I think its only worth it if you want the weapon proficiency it offers.
Or the +1 Int if you are a wizard. Maybe.
Artificer dilly is mainly useful for rogues. They like the UMD bonus, the Int bonus, and maybe the ability to use repeaters without being a mechanic.
